I know people cringe about Bentonville calling themselves the mountain bike capital of the world but every time I go there it just gets better, and I think they may be right about their title. The amount and variety of trails all accessible just by pedaling is mind blowing. Just Coler alone as you said Brian is phenomenal
would like to see a list of places where you can live close to a big city and still have good riding options . I am surprise there are not more options on east coast for good road trip options.
You are the perfect person to make this video. Really value your opinion on this sort of thing and I’ve gone to several of these trail systems based on your previous thoughts. Thanks for sharing and giving me more places to visit. 👍🏼
You need to get back to the UP of Michigan. Copper Harbor and Marquette get better every year. I drive out from Colorado every summer to ride there (but I also go fishing to make it worth a 2 day drive in each direction). I've ridden all over the country and I would certainly have those places in my Top 25.
With the addition of East Bluff, the trial mileage has more than doubled since the last time Brian visited Copper Harbor. I am a BBI (Barnett Bicycle Institute) graduate and I have riding all over Colorado and I agree the best "Summer" trails. east of the Mississippi, are in the UP. North Carolina, Virginia, and basically the entire Appalachians are too hot for me during June and July. I love the UP because it rarely gets over 75 degrees in the summer, it's often of 90 degrees in North Carolina during the same time.
@ - Huh?!?!? Have you ever ridden the Marquette Trail System or CopperHarbor/ EastBluff? If so, please say what you find terrible about those ride centers? Or...I maybe I am little slow and you are simply downplaying the attraction/appeal of the UP's trails in order to keep the trolls away and to keep the traffic down.
Really enjoyed this one BK. So many videos and trails, easy to forget about some of these. Drop the Hammer is one of the smoothest drops you'll ever hit. Just gotta send it 😉🤘
You are vouching for a lot. Dr. Vouchi bringing the bucket list front and center. Thanks Brian! 🙏🏻 Great resource and inspiration. Between you and Alex I feel like my time in corporate Murka is winding down. Keep the stoke coming.
#1 at Camp Murphy! I just discovered this place last month while driving our RV through Florida! Hitting Bentonville in March! Thanks and be safe out there!
Very inspiring video. Thanks, Brian. I know this wasn't your motive but I have felt strongly that the beautiful place I live, Grand Junction and Fruita, is being passed up by all these other awesome places to ride. I wish we would put more and newer trails here. We are getting left in the dust and I must get on the road to try some of these amazing trails.
Yes, I strongly considered Fruita but couldn't pull the trigger on ONE great ride. I think The Ribbon would be it, I always love it so much. Fruita was so ahead of the curve, that now things are getting a bit stale.
Gotta check out New Mexico! 1. Glorieta adventure camp 2. Red and white mesa Both within an hour or so of Albuquerque, amazing riding! So much more here but this are standouts for sure!
How early in the spring are these areas rideable? I will be in the area at the end of March/beginning of April but I am thinking that is too early for riding.
I think you should come up with more videos like this since you've traveled around the world to ride the best trails. Some ideas I think me and many other folks would be interested in: best trails to ride in winter, best flowy trails, best tech trails, best shuttle rides, best backcountry rides, best bike park for intermediate riders, etc...
Would love for you to check out northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. I’m sure you have been told to visit by many of us but it’s a must visit even if you can only do one or the other. It’s amazing.
Thanks Brian, I’m looking forward to riding in Canada (BC area), North Idaho, Montana and of course Washington this year since I just moved back to Spokane WA. I’ll stay “local this year”. I’ve ridden 90% on your list…I do want to hit Zen someday.
I remember you going to the pinhoti trail system in the 50 state shred. If you go closer to Atlanta there's an abundance of really good trail systems. Allatoona creek park is the most extensive by far, but others like blankets creek, olde rope mill, and sope creek are still really good. For my fellow Atlantans I recommend heading up to Dalton and doing Buzzards Roost as it's a great half-day adventure with amazing views.
Hey man love the videos! It would be really awesome to see you visit New Mexico again! South boundary, Glorieta, Santa Fe National forest! All places I think you would really enjoy! Not to mention Los Alamos and the Albuquerque area!
I moved from Florida to Bentonville a year ago, best decision I ever made because I get to ride trails, help build and maintain them, and they're always adding a new feature, new line, or an entirely new trail. Also when it does get hot and I don't want to sweat my balls off, I switch over to the ebike.
i’ve never done portal in moab. it always seems like it’s going to be a bigger day than i have time for. i would recommend rock stacker and jackson for people with less time. as far as mountain biking capital of the world… i would have to say st george. they are building new trails all the time and they are minutes from virgin ut.
You need to check out Cacapon State Park in the eastern panhandle of WV, you could stop there after snowshoe, Seneca then go to Frederick watershed after! Come to cacapon and I’ll guide you
Great video. 21 miles at DTE Energy Trail. You skipped a 5 mile loop when you were there last. Unfortunately a local rider talked you into skipping it.
He has ridden Copper Harbor, I believe in was summer 2018. I don’t believe he rode anywhere else in the UP. I’m currently in Florida and he left out Florida’s best ride centers Alifia and Carter road Park aka Loyce Harpe. The UP is so underrated and unappreciated, I am glad it’s still a secret to most. Also, Duluth and MN’s North shore are amazing.
Make sure you hit up Poleta, CA and Bishop, CA....and PINECREST, CA....and Palm Canyon Epic in Cathedral City, CA...oh, and and I almost forgot.....Idyllwild CA.....SICK!!!
Brian do you ever have issues when you fly with your bike? I hear nightmare stories about bikes being damaged, or inspected and then repacked terribly by TSA. Thanks.
We have been building lots of new trails in Forks, Washington, if you ever find yourself on the far north end of Highway 101 on the Olympic Peninsula. 🧛♂️🤙🚲
very soon I will come to America for a short period of time with friends and I will surely choose some Trail from this video also to bring it to my channel

I agree! You get a huge bang for your buck out there. Although I do find myself wanting to take a break for a couple years before I go back.
would like to see a list of places where you can live close to a big city and still have good riding options . I am surprise there are not more options on east coast for good road trip options.
The emtb hub Capitol for sure
Ohhh! There’s some rides I gotta at to my list now! 🔥
Gotta make it happen!!
Fantastic video Brian. Love the chronological aspect of the video.

Most definitely!! It's been way too long.

Northern MI is terrible, no one should waste their time /s

Great video, thanks for the ideas, planning all of my travel for the year and this is helpful.
Come back through and visit the Northeast again soon!
You are vouching for a lot. Dr. Vouchi bringing the bucket list front and center. Thanks Brian! 🙏🏻 Great resource and inspiration. Between you and Alex I feel like my time in corporate Murka is winding down. Keep the stoke coming.
Great list, thanks for putting this together.
#1 at Camp Murphy! I just discovered this place last month while driving our RV through Florida! Hitting Bentonville in March! Thanks and be safe out there!
Thanks a ton for this! I can find Ski Resort recommendations galore but its hard to find a comprehensive mountain biking list like this! Cheers bud!
If in the North Midwest: Duluth MN, Cable WI, Copper Harbor MI are a must! And there are tons of other trail systems by these locations as well!
Zen making the thumbnail! 🙌 lots of trails on my list now! Nice video Brian!

LOOOOOVE your content!

I lived in Tucson for 3.5 years and have family near Jupiter FL. The first two recommendations are definitely spot on!
Nice to see that you included DTE! It's less than han hour from me so not much of a road trip. I need to go out west, it all looks so amazing.
Awesome ride list!
DTE still stacks up. Now there is an official connector over to Poto so you can do a 50 mile loop.
Wow! Big time miles
Would love for you to check out northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. I’m sure you have been told to visit by many of us but it’s a must visit even if you can only do one or the other. It’s amazing.
Great list! Thanks for helping to plan my 2025 roadtrip! Still lots of Northern California riding for me
to do as well!
Nice!! Hope you get some good ones!
what no copper harbor..
they have added a ton of stuff since you have been there
You need to ride around Kalispell and Whitefish Montana and then jump over to Fernie BC!
Thanks Brian, I’m looking forward to riding in Canada (BC area), North Idaho, Montana and of course Washington this year since I just moved back to Spokane WA. I’ll stay “local this year”. I’ve ridden 90% on your list…I do want to hit Zen someday.

Thank You BKXC Sir For Good Suggestion ❤️
My pleasure!

Any idea how it gets the weather in late March ?
Hope to see you in the trail.
I ❤ your videos are very relaxing to me, i hope to see u one day on the trail.
Need to get you back here to Tennessee Brian and ride Walden's Ridge, It's as if Windrock and Kanuga had a baby! 🐣
i’ve never done portal in moab. it always seems like it’s going to be a bigger day than i have time for. i would recommend rock stacker and jackson for people with less time.

Thanks for the video! Trails look awesome.
I’m in LA in September visiting from the UK. Anything you’d recommend around there at that time of year?
You need to check out Cacapon State Park in the eastern panhandle of WV, you could stop there after snowshoe, Seneca then go to Frederick watershed after!
Come to cacapon and I’ll guide you
Great video. 21 miles at DTE Energy Trail. You skipped a 5 mile loop when you were there last. Unfortunately a local rider talked you into skipping it.
I think that 15 miles was perfect!
Short notice but BTCEB has its Rockville ride Sat am. Swing on by and join the fun
You should try CIrcuits Frontieres in East Hereford Quebec a beautiful small town with less than 300 peoples and very nice trails
Can you do a video on just North Cali? Or is there already one?
How could you leave out Copper Harbor and Marquette in the UP of Michigan???
He has ridden Copper Harbor, I believe in was summer 2018. I don’t believe he rode anywhere else in the UP. Haha yeah, it's been 7 years!
Make sure you hit up Poleta, CA and Bishop, CA....and PINECREST, CA....and Palm Canyon Epic in Cathedral City, CA...oh, and and I almost forgot.....Idyllwild CA.....SICK!!!
Agreed about Zen. Check out guacamole next time you’re in town.
Sawpit is now my fave at Demo.
QUEBEC #1 TABARNAK! 🤘🤪🤘
Very cool!
excellent vid, but nothing from Colorado?
very soon I will come to America for a short period of time with friends and I will surely choose some Trail from this video also to bring it to my channel
Love to hear it!
@bkxc maybe we can do a ride together 😜
DTE has another loop since you have been there and it has some more techy stuff on it and some jumps
Heck yeah, more vids like this please! Repurpose that content.
No Colorado?!
Second that, I thought Monarch Crest would be on there. Hard to pick 25 though
Trailforks direction arrows are another reason for migration from Strava (heat maps are a useful feature)
They definitely help!
So would it be safe to say then that Bentonville is Disneyland and Sentiers Du Moulin is DisneyWorld?
Hahaha, I think that might fit!
Cuyuna in MN is right up Brian’s alley. Don’t think he’s been.
You somehow forgot Orange County (The steeps of Laguna)!!!!
🔥✌
It's called mountain biking holidays.
1 minute gang👇
Yea buddy!
Early burly!
bro has his collar popped
Gotta keep it popped on the Costco jacket
Your vedios are the reason i ride
