Great job again Chris. I noticed that the Somalian ppl were very polite and not greedy and only wld take 1 of the bagged peanuts. Just goes to show how respectful and good hearted the Somalian ppl are. I'm not saying other cultures aren't. Just commenting on this video about this content. And in Somalian if u wanted to say hello u can say(dnt know how its spelt but sounds like the word) "seat". Learned from a Somalian man. And also was a good man. Respect Chris.
@Azrael71117 Maybe you are right, maybe not. I have lived in a German country, and see even such difference between the people there and in the UK, in the UK, people are always saying sorry, please, thank you, pardon and say these words or phrases anytime they can, it is extremely weird to people in the German country who tend to be direct and do not say things they do not mean. It is a difference of culture.
@Azrael71117 Again, you could be right, or not. Also, another thing, you can hear the w0men selling the peanuts commenting about the kids, saying something along the lines of "look, they(kids) are getting scared" and laughing, it's not everyday they get foreigners with huge cameras and weird glasses coming in and recording you, so that might be another factor. I agree that the people in Somalia need a change in their indiscriminately-violent barbaric culture that is tolerated and practiced over there, that is pretty obvious, but I don't think NOT saying "thank you" in their situation is something worth commenting on. We could put your idea to practice by conducting an experiment where a native buys peanuts for the kids and hands it out to them without a camera and we would see whether they say thank you or not. Just a reminder that guys looking like this traveller went to that city not too long ago shooting their city with rockets from helicopters and cruising through the city shooting kids and w0men at any chance they could.
@Azrael71117 again, I repeat to you my last paragraph. Let me paint a picture for you man, it's 2005 in New York, a man dressed with a gigantic Afghan turban comes, dressed in sandals and he has a gigantic beard, and he hands out chocolate to the sons of the victims of 911, what would their reaction be? Thank you or insulting? Me and you know the answer, I think the kids were nice, smiling and not being aggressive to a man recording them without their permission.
@Azrael71117 Also, I am really not too bothered by saying thank you or not, this is not my culture, I show gratitude in my anctions primarily, so I can not relate to your feelings entirely. A smile will do if anything.
Same in Thailand where they don't take old dollars, so I always bring dollars that are not overly worn or tore.. But they will give us old local money in their bills..lol

Nicko, Thanks for your kind and sweet words.
@Azrael71117
Maybe you are right, maybe not.
@Azrael71117
Again, you could be right, or not.
@Azrael71117
Also, I am really not too bothered by saying thank you or not, this is not my culture, I show gratitude in my anctions primarily, so I can not relate to your feelings entirely.
A smile will do if anything.
Same in Thailand where they don't take old dollars, so I always bring dollars that are not overly worn or tore.. But they will give us old local money in their bills..lol

Don't eat yourself up for the mistake you did. I watched the scene and like you said, i think you were just caught up in the moment ❤️ it really means a lot to make another video just to apologize. You are a good person.
Thank you sir! I'm just confused, because over 3 videos and 3 days I gave away $2000 USD and handed it out one-by-one hand to hand. Yes 2-3 times I threw a brick of money, but how does that make me a bad person. Confusing, yet a lesson in life.
@@ChrisMustList thus how I knew that it wasn't your fault because you handed others very well. Don't worry, it's not easy being privileged or different in a certain way. You are put in a spotlight and people monitor your every move. I'm not really privileged myself and if my other unprivileged friend throws me cash, it doesn't matter. But when a privileged guy throws cash at me, it seems as if he's trying to belittle me. Yet it might not be the case. You did your part Mr Chris in the most amazing way! Replying all those people and everything. For now you should just hide yourself from the comments and clear your mind and prepare for the holidays 🍾🥙🍔🎆🎉🎊🎄

@@ChrisMustList The fact that you threw it at an old lady while she was on the ground should speak for it self, it is seen as extremely disrespectful and insulting to do such a thing to elders.
@@Hai-fs6ng Want to know what's disrespectful and insulting? The fact that so many people on the streets haven't eaten. She wasn't upset, the government officials that were with me weren't upset, and she thanked me. I think its you racist bunch that want to find a problem with a white man helping. I threw the money to a hungry lady because I was being surrounded by other beggers. I want to make sure she got the money. Why not do a little research because the crime rate in Mogadishu is the highest in the world. Unemployment and poverty is also amongst the worst cities in the world. Litter in your oceans is disgusting, and your government is not helping. Black-on-black murder and crime is over 98% in Somalia but you want to take time out of your day to worry about me giving a woman money. I can guarantee that no Somali social media influencers did any videos or articles when 11 tourists were killed in a hotel takeover by terrorists in the end of 2022 in Mogadishu. Because it's black-on-black crime nobody talks about it. You are the real problem, not I.
Cool video. Did you hire a bodyguard or a guide while you were there?
You need a guide in Mogadishu, and that guide must have military. That is the only way you get into the country. If you watch my first video from this series it explains it all.

Mugadishu = The origins of the name Mogadishu (Muqdisho) in Somali language has many theories but it is most likely derived fro morphology of the Somali word of "muuq & Disho" which literally means 'Eye blinder or a sight killer" because of its beauty sight seen of the city... its architect of early Italian colonization, the Greek as well as English and Germany. The History of Somalia is larger than 1991 dear bother. We go as far as Ottoman time and we are Somalies played a major role of liberating most of African countries included South Africa....
