What happens to our face and skin as we age?

In our efforts to maintain youthful skin as we age, it is essential to restore moisture content in the skin daily. This is achieved first by exfoliation with alpha hydroxy- acids and retinol. When the skin has been gently exfoliated with these resurfacing products it is in great position to absorb moisture. Hyper hydration of the skin in this state will lead to soft, plump supple skin with reduced wrinkles. Your hyper hydrators should be customized to your skin type - see "Intro to Nightly Moisturizing" video (Mechanical exfoliation with scrubs and brushes are not recommended for the facial skin. These lead to discoloration of the skin with both reds and browns and aggravates acne when present.)

Unfortunately, medical grade skin products cost a FORTUNE. When you are on minimum wage but otherwise take care of your skin with good care and great diet, the medical grade products would be hugely beneficial. Unfortunately, they are marked up so much that only those making 6 or 7 figures can afford them.
