Great episode. I really miss Hanners. Was so disappointed when he left us but it was obvious that years of throwing himself into everything was taking a massive toll on him physically and mentally. It always felt wrong to see him in Saints colours. Deep down he will always be a Blood. Loved his stories about the players and 2012 GF.
I know he got a lot of stick at the saints. I used to watch him at training when i could get down and see him working his socks off in the gym and to get around the boys, and it was just such a shame his body was cooked. Not his fault the saints board didnt know what a physical was. Everytime he played for us I was genuinely excited and hes still the midfielder we need.
