I had a 10th gen iPad th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . Felt it getting pretty slow at times even after doing a reset. So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.
I’m also saving up for the same iPad! The IPad i have right now is old. 😢 but yay!

5:38 It is not to use it on the screen, it is to protect the tip of the apple pencil, while you are NOT using it, for when you use it, I recommend the tip covers for the Apple Pencil, those if they are used to use them on the screen, And they serve even more with the screen protector that feels like paper, because being rougher, it wears the tip of the Apple Pendil faster.
you can offload apps in your settings!
it'll save you storage and you can always re-install if needed!

definitely saving up for this ipad for school. i have an ipad mini 3 that i got like 5-6 years ago after saving up for a long time but like 2 years ago or something my mom accidentally shattered the screen so it’s unusable now and with quarantine and me going to college soon a new ipad would be so nice
Omg! 😭 sorry your iPad got shattered. And yes, same with me! Since I’m going to college soon, I thought it would be a good investment! I think it’s really worth it but I recommend waiting for a sale !! I ended up saving around $70 on mine because of the Memorial Day sale ! Hopefully there’s a back to school sale soon... if not, since you’re a college student, I believe Apple has education discounts ;))

I think there are a lot of decent styluses on the market. I don’t really have any experience with them but I hear the chesona one is a good dupe !

For anyone who plans to buy an iPad along with the paper like screen protector, please watch a video by MobileReviewsEh where he compares paper like with tampered glass? I think it was tampered glass. Paper like isn’t the best like you think it is so please take your time to watch the video before buying it. Most people unboxing are sponsored by paper like so it’s mostly biased.
I don’t use paper like the brand because I hear it’s over priced and doesn’t work well. Instead I used a paper-textured screen protector. I agree it isn’t the best because it makes your screen look grainy and the texture can wear down your Apple Pencil nib, but I think it depends on preference. Since I draw and write a lot on the iPad, the paper-texture helps writing/drawing feel more natural :)
