Wow, I loved that drive. Just one complaint. You didn't report on the ice cream! I was up your way in June on my BMW K75 (35 years old bike). I visited my son in Airdrie. We had been hoping to do some trips in the Trossachs, but it didn't work out. We had to do a few jobs on his bike (a 1974 Suzuki GT 380) which took longer than expected. Then we finally had an afternoon for a ride, and he got a nail in his tyre! Never mind. The work on his bike proved worthwhile, because in August we met up at Santander in northern Spain and had a wonderful holiday in the French side of the Pyrenees. His bike behaved really well for that. The scenery and mountain roads were amazing. I live on the Costa Del Sol in southern Spain. My trip to Scotland and back was over 5,000 miles (over 8,000 kms).
I didn’t report on the ice cream because I didn’t have any 🤣 Great to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Scotland. I’ve driven three times in the Picos mountains, I agree truly fabulous roads and scenery 👍
Great trip, I'll have to ride that one. Done the two in Galloway, Raider's Road and the one that comes out by Loch Doon. Enfields are great for this kind of unhurried riding, mine's a Himalayan.
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video. I’ll have to look into the Raider’s Road and the Loch Doon one. Could be a great video for next year. Thanks for the info. 🏍️👍
What a lovely part of our country. Handy there is a toilet along the wee route. 3 lochs with gorgeous scenery.. is the route one way Ian? Hopefully if dry I meet the Dundee boys to head with them to Comrie, this Sunday. ( only if dry)
Hi Mark It was a fun 7 mile run on the forest track. Yes it is one way. At the moment the weather doesn’t look too promising for Sunday. Hopefully it’ll improve and I’ll see you there 🤞
@@tigerness5555 hopefully weather behaves for the Sunday run. Had a wee run yesterday with Bruce, from Coastrider Scotland, showed him , some local sights, down coast road to Montrose, prior to home heading back home via the kingdom of Fife. Be nice to see you Sunday, if dry. Mark.
Hi Mark Just watching Coastrider Scotland’s video of him riding up through Glenshee. You get a mention from him saying he’s meeting up with you in a later video, looking forward to seeing that one. Hopefully catch up with you on Sunday 🏍️👍
As no one checked me and all the barriers were open you could just drive through without paying. Also it did say it was a £3 parking charge and I didn’t park 🤣 Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and the ride 🏍️👍
Hi Jock, great to hear that you enjoyed my video 🏍️👍 I’ve had the drone for years, just don’t use it very often. Tried to get it to follow me but it decided not to 🤣 Catch up again soon
That's a stunning little road... and every ride should include cake and coffee.
Hope you enjoyed my video as much as I enjoyed the cake 🤣👍
@@tigerness5555 🤣 I very much enjoyed the video. But I may have enjoyed the cake a little more. 😉

@@tigerness5555 I meet at Stonehaven harbour, and traveled to south end of Montrose, showing a few nice places during the wee run.
For what it is mine is quite good at trails too.
It’s a do everything bike, except go super fast 🤣
Hope you enjoyed my video 🏍️👍
Forget 100hp + this is as much fun as you can have on a motorcycle?
I agree fully, gear little bikes
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video 🏍️👍
Yes it is
Was a bit angry with the £3 thing at the start, but yes that ride was worth it.

@@tigerness5555 oh a parking change, I thought it was a toll road or something.
Although it says parking charge on the ticket it’s really the charge for driving through the forest 😁
So this means you've paved your entire country. Wow....
Weird extrapolation, but carry on...
All our roads are paved. Some even gave grass planted in the middle for speed control 🤣
Hope you enjoyed my video 🏍️👍
Nice vid mate, stunning scenery. New drone or just perfect opportunity?
