Iquitos is one of my all time favorite scents. This is the first you tube review I have been able to find on Iquitos. I have gone through three 3.4 bottles since I first picked it up in 90! Today it is really hard to find and price reflects that. I never met any one else that wore it besides myself. Great review.

My bottle says classic on the front. But other than that its the exact same bottle. How different are the two fragrences? I have never had the pleasure of trying the original but it love this bottle that says classic so i can only imagine the original. I need to check out iquitos next! -Ramsey
RE: IQUITOS/ Alain Delon is rumoured to have been concocted by Bertrand Duchaufour as a response to DIOR Poison. The DIOR house rejected the result and Duchaufour sold the concept to either PUIG or COTY who then included it into the A.D. range. I am proud owner of A.D. as it was my first ever fragrance my dad gave to me. I will review very soon.......

Found it in a small boutique in Brisbane, Australia in the early 80s, has been my most favourite fragrance ever since. Sadly, was only able to get another bottle (classic) once in Vienna... of all places in 1989, after I almost gave up not being able to locate it in Paris.:-o Alain Delon👏👏👏👏👏

Well, no good news because there is none. I detected a slightly, temporary similar vibe in Richard James's Savile Row and Antonio Banderas's Antonio. But they are not really close. AD is gone, so stock up if you manage to find some bottles. Cheers
The young people don't know anything. It's an awesome fragrance. This fragrance has some traces of the berry note in Pancaldi. The woodsy note is more balanced than some fragrances, like Bel Ami. I'm not a big fan of sandalwood.
i have apprrox 25ml left of Iquitos. I don't even use it. just smell it, and put it away. Any way of getting through to the manufacturers?. Re-launch maybe?

The original is amazing! AD Plus is in my top 10. Would love to find a full bottle at a fair price. I think Alain Delon Classic is the best of the 3!
