I mean, how hard is to think of something, for example: weapon parts system like in Escape from Tarkov, weapon jamming, adding foliage/patches/slings to your weapon, being able to build yourself a treehouse or camp (maybe use it as a fast travel point), hiding spots for your weapons, various explosives (instead of the same old beeping mines and C4), building traps, recruiting and arming AI to join your cause, interrogation system...And that's just a few ideas I came up with in 5 minutes. Sadly not. It's decent, even good in places but what they borrowed from Witcher 3 isn't as well executed (in terms of quest design) the story is actually very weak and the combat mechanics while definitely adding more control don't feel right. The over the shoulder combat approach doesn't work for me. I get that they wanted to move away from AC bread and butter but Witcher 3 had a more floating camera to allow you to fight multiple enemies and it worked fine. A big step in the right direction but certainly not worth game of the year.
+Tapo Watchorn first of all the story is midtier not very weak you also have to remember that while making this story there are a few restriction due to it's story being patterned in real world history.. remember the devs at witcher 3 had a book and its a game of fantasy its easier to create your own story without restriction. . alot of the things they borrowed from the witcher 3 are actually done better, horse riding? defininitley yes it's easier to ride the horse, control and auto control it.. the boat? hell yeah it's more useful than the witcher 3's where you only ride it to get collectible loots, and that one side mission in an island given by kiera.. Edited: i almost forgot skellige yeah it uses the boat.. but you can buy a fastravel location from a nearby merchant, that's probably why i didn't remember using the boat much in skellige quest system? of course why not, the side quest actually makes you explore every nook and cranny of the map one side mission leads to the next area and so on.. unlike the witcher 3 in valen there's a very large portion of south & east that is empty, there's a side mission there but for each there's only one.. i still remember it because i played the game like a hundred hrs so i get to explore it. i think the quest on the south had something to do with the pile of dead bodies & the quest on east had something to do with a woman's son. Leveling system now this is something definitely better.. i actually needed to grind on the witcher 3 looking for those annoying downers near the beach after the first world map, because my level isn't high enough to deal with the quest... btw i don't know if this is an issue for the lower difficulty but i've always played on harder difficulty. also since we talked about the leveling system there's also the skill tree, gods strike me 70% of the skills in the witcher 3 you will not be able to use.. in ACO you can use about 90% of them the 10% are tools because you can only equip 1 tool at a time. i can go on and on with this but it'll take too long to write it all we still have that item menu, the armors, weapon variants, underwater explorations, underwater combat, choices of stealth or combat, that annoying questmarker on the minimap etc etc.. *now* *now* don' get triggered i know what you're thinking, let me clarify this doesn't mean its all negative on the witcher 3..as an example the combat planning in the witcher 3 is actually far superior than ACO's not the combat itself gods.. the combat in witcher 3 is clunky but what i'm talking about is how you brew potions, use silver or steel, read the bestiary etc those cool planning before attacking the beast... this game is worth witcher 3, BOTW, HZD or skyrim... its just that good.. i'm actually surprise myself on what they've given us here.
@Bman in the earlier games, the assassins could perform a back eject leap of faith, not a back flip one. Also, in AC2, if Ezio is too close to a haystack and if you press the drop button, then Ezio would FALL to the haystack.
Thats cause quebec are lazy and dont give a fuck.montreal especially ashraf ismails team care about their fans and delivering the best experience possible
Bro I jumped into water that had a oil spill in it, came out, got shot by a flaming arrow and while I ran away a fire trial followed me for a good 3 or 4 minutes. I was WOKE.
Ppl were like this borrows too much from witcher but back in 2015 they were all " I hope more games are like witcher in the future." Now they are saying it isn't as good as witcher but I honestly find it easier to move around, and it is nice to know what level enemies are in the area you are in. there are lots of details like these (in the video) that go unnoticed. Ac origins is game of the year quality but I fear that haters are ruining that chance. The world is more open whereas witcher was more tight quarters in some places. Still I love both games. Witcher will still be good for a while
Lou Bloom it is great gameplay but I played it last night and then played origins after. It is easier to move around in origins.getting on a horse is faster and you can move around more easily. You can ride your horse from one end of the map to the other. Witcher has horse sprint though. Wish origins had that too. No decapitations in origins either sadly
Mark W Yeah Witcher 3’s world didn’t feel alive like Origins does. Everything is scripted and robotic like. For example if you attack an enemy in Witcher and try to lure it away from the area you found it in, it’ll eventually go back to where it originally was. Whereas in Origins, Guards will leave their camp to find and kill you and the Phylakes travel across the entire map, not restricted to one area.
Sickstea6ix and the enemies disappear almost instantly in witcher. It takes a long time for them to disappear in assassins creed. So fun to take out a bunch of guards and then walk past all their dead bodies as you leave an area. Then come back later that day and vultures are on them
I don’t think you realize how difficult physics like that is and like at least they thought to put it in rather then just have your character go over it as it stays still
Someone made a video that juxtaposed that to a video of similar AI in Mario 64, mocking how the COD devs were using that as a centerpoint on how advanced their engine was.
One that I discovered recently when playing it. When you talk to an NPC outdoor in a mission when a sandstorm occurs, the NPC will raise their hands to shield their face from the sands. Like how Bayek does when he's out there during the sandstorm.
Oil will drift along with water currents too. I just want to say i think every game should have a photo mode like the one in this game. I've changed my Xbox wallpaper a bunch of times since getting this.
I love this. Videos that try to show the glitches are just finding ways to draw attention to themselves. This is such a beautifully-crafted game with such detail. I'm amazed, honestly, at how well a game this big has performed since launch. I'm 55+ hours in and still loving every moment of it. This video just further confirms how well this game was crafted by the developers of Black Flag.
Not to mention heat exhaustion. If you spend too much time running in the desert on foot you'll notice Bayek will start stumbling and become noticeably dizzy and disoriented. Or the fact in a sandstorm you'll see him trying to shield his face from the harassing wall of sand. It's the little things that really make this game
Ubisoft Montreal are GODS. This game is AMAZING. Tomb raiding, underwater exploration, mountain hiking, desert trekking, everything about this game feels amazing. Nothing leaves me wanting more, and the sound, the sound of this game, PROPS TO THE SOUND ENGINEERS EVERYTHING IS SO REALISTIC AND LIFELIKE. 100/100 in my opinion. This is easily game of the fucking decade.
This game was a visual masterpiece. I have spent countless hours and it's definitely a game if you wanna relax on and get lost in. Especially the tombs and this definitely revived the AC series...
Evil Dead the game has more than 24 missions. You can’t complete the game without doing some side quests to level up (unless you spend all your time upgrading your hidden blade damage) because the enemies are far too powerful
Braeden Boyle I mean the main campaign only has 24 missions I know there's more side quest to do and activities. But if they were going to put this much stuff to do they could of made the main story line a little longer.
Seeing people share love for the Ubisoft's games is so good ! Reminds me of the old times when games like Chaos theory, Rainbow six vegas and Ac1, 2 and brotherhood came out and people loved them a lot and praised ubisoft for their continous amazing work.
Origins Soundtrack has an amazing reworked version of Ezio’s Family on it that works well with the game considering this game’s connection to the Ezio story.
i just wish Ubi soft would actually create a likable and meaningful character outside of the animus not since Desmond miles have we gotten a character with any real development outside of the animus all i want is to have portions of the game feel like Watch dogs were we are actually some crazy stealth hacker ninja with his own life and enemies but also his animus adventure....don't get me wrong i know people play Assassins creed games for the Historical setting and Assassin game play but i just wish we had more present day characters and story established with some game play to go along with it ...maybe one year we could have a Assassins creed game and the next year or two a Watch dogs game were we play as our animus hacker fighting Templar's in present day.
Exile it seems that Ubisoft is setting up Layla to be a new modern day replacement for Desmond. It looks like we’re going to see her again in future titles. Here is to hoping they do a lot more modern times story missions with her.
I've spent almost 60 hours on this game. I've completed the main story line along with many side quests and I absolutely enjoyed it. There were a few problems (ignorable) here and there, but overall the game was pretty fantastic. And I'm a huge fan of the new combat system (despite the negative feedback from the community). It takes a bit of getting used to. But once you get the hang of it, it's really fun. Really glad they put out a top quality AC game this time.
Cool video! A couple other details I also noticed were the arrows in your quiver rattle around when Bayek moves and if you take damage from a high enough fall and start running, Bayek will limp and gradually go back to a normal stride.
SoulScr3am it’s not exactly it.It doesn’t work like a mirror, more like frames in certain Areas(forgot the name, some comment above explains it bettee) but yeah, pretty neat detail
It's static reflection, environment mapping. It can reflect the geometry of the map, but it won't reflect say your character walking around and shootin' dude. It can't do real-time reflections. The eye refection are actually super easy to do. Real time reflection would be super taxing, and not as easy to do.
I think two of the best details about the game is the fact that he feels the grass when walking in fields and the fact that senu is always over you is insane
As someone who only started playing games again after about 3 years last week, its super cool to see all these awesome little details, definitely gonna get this game!
Nice vid, they did a good job on this ac game this time around. Looks amazing , nice storyline for Bayek and how the creed is coming to life. A nice overhaul of the franchise in general i think.
The only problem with this game is the story... In my opinion, all the the villains were the worst of the series. I mean, you dont fill nothing, this includes with the second characters, you dont fill anything...
Ricardo Dias I liked it, well I agree about the villains, like they talked about flavius like they knew him but I had no idea, but other than that I liked it
Played every AC game but Origins has genuinely STUNNED me. It's jaw dropping at times. It's the AC game I've always wished for playing the others:- "wouldn't it be cool if........how ace would it be to........if you could do.......". I really can't get over just how superb it is.
There is so much to like about it but I just can't see myself doing another playthrough, it's just missing... something. I think the controls can be a little imprecise and the camera during combat isn't good, lack of enough and varied animated finishers is also a blow for me. Story is the weakest part though. Egypt is amazing and the visuals are stunning but nothing draws me forward apart from killing the next faceless bad guy who only becomes known moments before you kill them. Not to mention your reason for wanting to kill them was poorly set up. Oh and Altair 1300 years down the road has no ring finger to honour a slapstick fail that Bayek did....? Not for practical reasons or symbolic reasons, the awesome idea of losing a finger to be a better assassin is explained by a guy fucking up and slicing his own finger off by accident and assassins for over a thousand years thereafter copying him.....? Come on. That being said objectively this is a big achievement and a huge step in the right direction, I suspect the next AC game will be amazing thanks to the strides made in Origins.
Tapo Watchorn You may have also noticed Bayek put aside the love he had for his wife to commit fully to his cause as a "hidden one". Perhaps he felt it necessary for everyone else to do the same. However my point becomes slightly invalid lying in the fact Altair had children and a wife. But I speculate and say maybe the commitment became a little more lenient at that stage. As for the removal of the ring finger perhaps no one wanted to change the tradition until Leonardo came along of course. That's my theory.. I could be in no way shape or form correct. But yeah.
Bayek slicing his finger off wasn’t a “slapstick fail”. He got put in a position while fighting that he couldn’t get the blade out without it happening. And he did it anyway. Because that’s how committed he was to his cause and how willing he was to go through with it. It’s a symbol of willpower, duty, and dedication. I can completely understand why it became a tradition among the Brotherhood.
I don't think he made it necessary for everyone to renounce all ongoing or future intimate relationships with people. It was more because the cause demanded that he do so. The things Assassin's do makes it really hard to have a relationship like that. The only successful one being Ezio, and he couldn't devote time to his family until he was dying of old age and retired. Bayek and Aya realized this. It worked out in the end I guess. Bayek forming the Egyptian Brotherhood of the "Hidden Ones" and Aya forming the Roman Brotherhood.
Tapo Watchorn I hope they expand on the Assassin's "origin" story on the Hidden Ones dlc...the game felt like "Medjay's Creed" for 80% of the game's story. But I understand they had to explain how the Assassin's got their values of freedom and helping the people. Bayek was just a nice guy and his values seemed to translate over when he created the Hidden Ones. Now, I want to see the new brotherhood in action.

Garret Simpson They all had children, otherwise they wouldn't be anybody's ancestors. No kids, no "genetic memory". Also, you couldn't even see into their memories after their kids were made, since those aren't in their dna anymore. (Just don't ask me how could you do shit as the old Altair in Revelations...)
I'm a 65 year old gamer. I started playing in the 80's on a 8 bit Atari 2600. I've watched in amazement though the years on the evolution of graphics and sounds in games. Next step VR. Once it is perfected, we will all be walking those beautiful environments.
This game was worth literally every penny.... In my entire history of playing video games.... Only a handful have ever had this feeling of satisfaction in just about every aspect
+brenthibeau Yeah, so _I_ need to be creative? _I_ need to uselessly dance around just to make the combat feel interesting even thought the most efficient way is to stab-dodge?
Kronos yea be creative sounds like all you do is stab dodge and that CAN'T be the most efficient cause you're not getting those criticals cause obviously you don't parry or use environment
I dont understand how the story is shit, I'm maybe 8 hours into the game and it's been awesome so far. Gameplay is massively better than previous AC games. I'd much rather have this than "button mash square until everyone is dead." At least this way you're offered variation. Maybe you just haven't invested in other skills in the seer or hunter trees yet. Either way damn man if you hate the game so bad how about this: *Don't play it.*
HOF Excuse Maker that's honestly how I felt when I first got it but now I really love the change they did on the combat this time. It feels much more difficult and satisfying than your usual counter kill
I really love this ac, one of my favorites, actually black flag is the only one I like because I like pirates and the sound tracks they used there, it's so emotional, I love it! But this one is also GREAT!
This is what happens when they give the devs more time.
RobM Yup that extra year really payed off.
I havn't bought the game yet but I may do eventually.
RobM about time they actually worked on it more instead of trying to pump out an ac game yearly. I stopped playing AC long ago due to the constant releases being almost the same as the previous with some tweaks, but I wanna pick it up again eventually, this one might be it.
RobM do it. Easily the best 60 hours of gaming I've had in a good couple years
yeah, not like in 2015 where 3 assassins creed release just in one year
Reflection in horse eye was INSANE
Its already hard to create mirrors in games
Jaivardhan Deshwal , It is not real-time. It is called Reflection Probes. You can search about it
Cəlal Qurbanov yeah looked for it--thnx for sharing
Jaivardhan Deshwal , you'r welcome :)
Jaivardhan Deshwal Exactly! Just ask Mafia 3
I think it is insane that someone noticed that
Also if you "accidently" put a normal person on fire, others around it will try and help putting the fire out by trowing sand on them
I accidently set myself on fire and they did the same to me!
Villagers do that with most stuff that's on fire. Mostly haybales and such.
Throwing sands puts out fire? The egyptians were advance for their time
that is actually so basic for what ancient Egyptians were capable of
I just recently experienced this. I was like "woah, did they really put this in the game? amazing"
Okay the hallucinating part is fucking cool
Fat Cats Can't Jump why doesn't anyone use the word "mirages" ?
syed faizan Im a Malaysian and 15, I also have good grades in English and watch many kinds of youtubers that speaks english. And tbh with you, I think I only heard that word twice in my whole life. This is my second time I THINK

I️ wanna go to the Ubisoft studios and just give them all big bear hug , this game is amazing
They live in Montreal in the province next to mine I'd love to tour their offices
Too bad they added double DRM on the PC version affecting performance. Otherwise the game is awesome.
I worked in their offices for two months, they're a really cool and friendly employer :)
@A Russian Love how you say it's shit, but you don't have any argument's to back up your claims.
Yes this is game is amazing, it's a drug

Rick Grimes I’ve noticed that, and it’s so cool.
Rick Grimes 23. If you shoot an arrow through fire, so will that arrow and anything it hits
24. when you completed a side quest that doesn't prompt you to return to the quest giver. try going back to the quest giver you got it from and he'll talk about the quest you did, bayek sometimes respond hehe

Why would u limp if u jumped ON a high place i could understand if u jumped OFF a high place
another great detail is the flow in the nil which makes you actually drift away if you are not swimming
Same with loot bags. More than one time I had to chase them down stream :)
KamehamehaNudel this goes back to the rivers in AC 3. They had currents that would carry you. Blew my mind in 2012
also with heavy cargo loot(wood, metal, etc) it will sink in the water, was mad about this because I lost my 15 loot of wood >_>
KamehamehaNudel Bro, im pretty sure they had that in skyrim, which was released in 2011
Santiago that's true
The halucination tricks me many times 😂😂😂
Jason Vorhees same
Jason Vorhees I still never understood why they're a thing to begin with lol
DominatorGaming yeah i mean its pretty cool too and pretty scary at times if your an 8 yr old like me
John Matthew hey this game is rated M so kids like you aren't allowed to play this game.
I'd rather my kid play this than GTA 5. Just saying.
I have 0 regret for buying this game : )
The DLC can't come soon enough!
If you shoot a sleeping dart at a fire, it will cloud a large area with sleeping gas.
robert.young1127 they had that in syndicate
even before that they have it if I'm not mistaken
lol cool video. the reflective eyes thing is a cool detail and the shoot in the leg thing is actually really useful
TKnighty i think it was a ballista, not an actual arrow from a bow.
ZFlipSkeTch Either that or a spear. Normal arrows won’t knock you down.
I hope they still add this and tons more in the next AC game. I'm kinda expecting Far Cry 5 to have the same amount of detail now.

KyrenCross you Can go in every House in Far cry5
Another thing if bayek himself is on fire if you roll around it'll put the fire out and I've noticed it's slightly faster to put out in sand(1 roll vs 2 rolls)
How to roll?
cul8 cil2 seriously?
There is no roll button...
cul8 cil2 u just dodge and shit my dude...
cul8 cil2 triple tap the dodge button if I'm not mistaken
You can also dip arrows into fire, torches, campfires, whatever. You can drop your torch then use it to light your arrow tip and then pick the torch back up lols
Wow a quality game from ubisoft.. Gotta say they did a wonderful job on the water... Its amazing.
bannu potter Thx to the Black Flag team...they're the fucking best
Vinny Souza People say everything that comes from Canada is shit i point to ubisoft Montreal probably the best Ubisoft studio who made the games up to AC3? If IV was a differnt team they were awesome
The Wandering Dovahkiin Child of Light was pretty good too
African American Carrot sorry don't know what that is mind explaining?
it's a RPG made by Ubi Montreal, it's themed on tales while the story told is about a girl who tries to find her father true identity.
It was really fun when i had no other game to play.

Dude, WOW already has a great story. There’s entire channels dedicated to it on TH-cam, like Nobbel, since it is really good
Braeden Boyle the game isn't that taxing on gpus, its taxing on the cpu because of drm.
The first time I experienced the hallucinations, it made me regret playing the game at 3am. They were creeping me the hell out. At least now I know what causes it.
Advanced fish AI?! Now THIS is AAA gaming
San Andreas did this like 15 years ago
@Boel B Agreed, San Andreas could arguably be the best game ever. And AC Origins is also beyond great to me. I spent 100+ hours on that one
@@GLMusic12 Origins is the best AC imo, spent over 200 hours on that one. Although Rockstar will always have me with the Red Dead series
@@vegito5626 You just spoke into my soul. Couldnt agree more

It would make more sense for them to switch to melee weapons when you get too close. Like in TW3.
well they are archers :D many other classes can switch weapons but these guys can do just one thing :D
Pawlik23 Hello from Isaac Newton.Go back to stone ages, kid.
and you can tell when his voice is muffled because of scarf, or a helm, or even the sci fi armor
You can light spider nets on fire
Googi Monter like you do in Skyrim ?
vinvinudu77 I didn't know you could do that in Skyrim, I always just cut them down. You could do that in Ocarina of Time too.
Malik Crim so this isn't an "incredible" feature, but this is a nice little detail anyway
vinvinudu77 What race are you in skyrim?
Darren Dalton I played as a khajit, as a dark elf, as a wood elf, and a Breton
so much effort have been in this game and people still say that they faked reviews on steam
people never change
Sometimes next gen isn't all about visuals but immersive interactions with the world

GAME OF THE YEAR
Rick Grimes hope so
Crossing my fingers
Edited: i almost forgot skellige yeah it uses the boat.. but you can buy a fastravel location from a nearby merchant, that's probably why i didn't remember using the boat much in skellige
quest system? of course why not, the side quest actually makes you explore every nook and cranny of the map one side mission leads to the next area and so on.. unlike the witcher 3 in valen there's a very large portion of south & east that is empty, there's a side mission there but for each there's only one.. i still remember it because i played the game like a hundred hrs so i get to explore it. i think the quest on the south had something to do with the pile of dead bodies & the quest on east had something to do with a woman's son.
Tapo Watchorn Witcher3 had really bad combat too---atleast this one is challenging
2:26 this is amazing
You've always been able to do this.
@Bman in the earlier games, the assassins could perform a back eject leap of faith, not a back flip one.
Also, in AC2, if Ezio is too close to a haystack and if you press the drop button, then Ezio would FALL to the haystack.
1:55 "Stop, you shit!" ... he's not wrong!
Low key racism there lol
Sanrin The Necromancer how come?
Baracuda You said he isn't wrong there, I'm under the assumption you're referring to Bayek's skin colour
Sanrin The Necromancer I just meant he was a shit for burning that poor guy's boat, lol. Don't read too much into it.
Oh fair enough, my apologies
And... Odyssey removed around 75% of these details & provided none in replacement. Thanks Ubisoft Quebec!
I was WOKE.
AssassinOfEgypt hahahaahaa
Ppl were like this borrows too much from witcher but back in 2015 they were all " I hope more games are like witcher in the future." Now they are saying it isn't as good as witcher but I honestly find it easier to move around, and it is nice to know what level enemies are in the area you are in. there are lots of details like these (in the video) that go unnoticed. Ac origins is game of the year quality but I fear that haters are ruining that chance. The world is more open whereas witcher was more tight quarters in some places. Still I love both games. Witcher will still be good for a while
Mark W Witcher3 is gone---great graphics and story but bad gameplay
I haven't played origins but it certainly has better gameplay and environment
Jaivardhan Deshwal witcher 3 had awesome gameplay what are you talking about
Lou Bloom it is great gameplay but I played it last night and then played origins after.
Then come back later that day and vultures are on them
i love this game, my favorite assassin's creed yet, also made me much more curious about ancient Egyptian culture.
realistic cloth physics
*everything clips horribly through it*
rohit sanyal lol
Its the thought that counts :)
"cloth physics" *litterally warps through the cloth a second later*
I don’t think you realize how difficult physics like that is and like at least they thought to put it in rather then just have your character go over it as it stays still
did you want the cloth to literally stop you moving?
ahahah love the last one , is that a shot at COD ?
DarkVoidOblivion it is
Definitely
How is that even a shot at cod? Just because a cod dev mentioned fish ai in a presentation?
Someone made a video that juxtaposed that to a video of similar AI in Mario 64, mocking how the COD devs were using that as a centerpoint on how advanced their engine was.
Anonymous i think this video was being serious about the fish moving out of the way as a detail.
The fish AI. God I️ never thought another game could do that after Call of Duty ghosts.
4:17 .That's actually pretty damn sad
I abolutely LOVE the way level of detail is developing within the bigger games, im realy looking forward to some of the next interesting storys
One that I discovered recently when playing it. When you talk to an NPC outdoor in a mission when a sandstorm occurs, the NPC will raise their hands to shield their face from the sands. Like how Bayek does when he's out there during the sandstorm.
the backflip is lit af man... and all the assassin ever since had never learned it lol
well, i mean ezio can do it
The game is beautiful
Well all I can say is that the hallucinating part really scared me
It’s really cool
This game was a visual masterpiece. I have spent countless hours and it's definitely a game if you wanna relax on and get lost in. Especially the tombs and this definitely revived the AC series...
I can honestly say they did a great job with this game perfect game. My only complaint is I wish the story had more mission then just 24.
It's still a fantastic game
Are the side quests good? I mean skyrims main quest was short and crappy but no one really cares because of all the great sidequests
Monday's insanity Yes they are some you get a cut scene there all very diverse and different.
This video is peace of art
I like the last one. Fish ai. Well played sir.
This game is a masterpiece! Loved "Black Flag" so much.. but.. this game here is over the top!! Sound, graphic, gameplay 👍👍👍
Great job paying attention to the detail :)
Seeing people share love for the Ubisoft's games is so good ! Reminds me of the old times when games like Chaos theory, Rainbow six vegas and Ac1, 2 and brotherhood came out and people loved them a lot and praised ubisoft for their continous amazing work.
What's that music? It's like a remix of 'Ezios Family'
Nevermind I had the video on 1.5x faster
CarreraGT Lol
Origins Soundtrack has an amazing reworked version of Ezio’s Family on it that works well with the game considering this game’s connection to the Ezio story.
This sound track is just beautiful. Especially as it gets louder. Gives me chills
i just wish Ubi soft would actually create a likable and meaningful character outside of the animus not since Desmond miles have we gotten a character with any real development outside of the animus all i want is to have portions of the game feel like Watch dogs were we are actually some crazy stealth hacker ninja with his own life and enemies but also his animus adventure....don't get me wrong i know people play Assassins creed games for the Historical setting and Assassin game play but i just wish we had more present day characters and story established with some game play to go along with it ...maybe one year we could have a Assassins creed game and the next year or two a Watch dogs game were we play as our animus hacker fighting Templar's in present day.
Exile it seems that Ubisoft is setting up Layla to be a new modern day replacement for Desmond. It looks like we’re going to see her again in future titles. Here is to hoping they do a lot more modern times story missions with her.
Michael Joh either that or scrap the modern day section
This game really is a masterpiece and I thank ubisoft for giving us such a beautiful, visceral and impactful game
You deserve a lot more likes and subscribers
This is a great compilation, that just shows how far games have come over the years. Thanks and well done!
1:21 here video games
2:25 Didnt know that , omg my mind exploded in awesomeness 0.0
Great details.
Whoa, Technology!
Some of these are amazing. I especially found the reflection in the eyes to be an impressive detail!
I liked the part that AI give u a boat ride...
Cool video! A couple other details I also noticed were the arrows in your quiver rattle around when Bayek moves and if you take damage from a high enough fall and start running, Bayek will limp and gradually go back to a normal stride.
Eye reflection?! seriously?!
SoulScr3am it’s not exactly it.It doesn’t work like a mirror, more like frames in certain Areas(forgot the name, some comment above explains it bettee) but yeah, pretty neat detail
So like a picture then? Will you see trees in its eyes if you are in a jungle like area?
It's static reflection, environment mapping. It can reflect the geometry of the map, but it won't reflect say your character walking around and shootin' dude. It can't do real-time reflections. The eye refection are actually super easy to do. Real time reflection would be super taxing, and not as easy to do.
It's Cubemap reflection which takes one of the Cubemap textures and puts it on the eye , the game has different Cubemap for different areas
I think two of the best details about the game is the fact that he feels the grass when walking in fields and the fact that senu is always over you is insane
FISH A.I.!
ShadowLegend that was already in Super Mario 64.
I remember a trailer for Cod Ghosts talking about their fish AI lol
As someone who only started playing games again after about 3 years last week, its super cool to see all these awesome little details, definitely gonna get this game!
One of the reasons this should be game of year
Oh God Christmas can't get here quick enough
Now do details they forgot to add.
Nice vid, they did a good job on this ac game this time around.
Looks amazing , nice storyline for Bayek and how the creed is coming to life.
A nice overhaul of the franchise in general i think.
1:49 that ones a little obvious
Seeing the soldier carry the comrade back to his bed pinches my heart a bit.
Assasin creed origins is awesome
you miss something bro
when we go near the spider web with light torch, it gets burned
Please, steampunk, cpy, codex even baldman, anybody! Save my poor soul 😢
Its Abie Art :) lol
Lol they crack it already
I bet the developers are super proud/happy knowing we noticed all the minute details about the game!
The only problem with this game is the story... In my opinion, all the the villains were the worst of the series. I mean, you dont fill nothing, this includes with the second characters, you dont fill anything...
Ricardo Dias dude cesere and gatham were great man! Especially haytham! Damn i love haytham
Ricardo Dias I liked it, well I agree about the villains, like they talked about flavius like they knew him but I had no idea, but other than that I liked it
Wladimir Putin OH please stop Ezio zealots.
Amazing game, Ubi really out did themselves this time, I'm loving it.
How is dust traveling in the wind's direction a great detail? I seen that shit on PS1
I'm a Cat? Stop Lying I doubt there was any dust in a 16bit game
"fish ai move out of the way"
I see what you did there boi
There is another one you missed , no HDR on pc to boost console sell .
I'm a 65 year old gamer. I started playing in the 80's on a 8 bit Atari 2600. I've watched in amazement though the years on the evolution of graphics and sounds in games. Next step VR. Once it is perfected, we will all be walking those beautiful environments.
WE
WUZ
KANGZ
N SHEET
The only franchise that pulls off WE WUZ KANGS N SHIT as well as WE WUZ ROMANS N SHIT, true equality
Steven Graham oh yeah, assassins never been to Rome
I think I’m wrong
This game was worth literally every penny.... In my entire history of playing video games.... Only a handful have ever had this feeling of satisfaction in just about every aspect
People do relise this is normal in most modern games
Not what we were used to in previous Assassins creed games, this one actually feels like they took the time to finish it properly before releasing it
So great to see this in a franchise that usually overlooks small details. I have very high hopes for this game
This is game _looks_ awesome....but the story and gameplay is just.....shit.
Kronos I think you the dodge-stab combat system is you just being inefficient and uncreative while fighting. Try a couple parrys or a throw maybe lol
Kronos I liked the gameplay :)
The npc in the boat, helping you is outstanding, I liked that detail
The only thing I don't like about the game is the combat.
HOF Excuse Maker that's honestly how I felt when I first got it but now I really love the change they did on the combat this time. It feels much more difficult and satisfying than your usual counter kill
*sickedgar* I also don't like the parkour it's too stiff and he can't jump more than 15ft off an elevated area w/out losing health.
I deleted this game off my PS4 after the 4th day of playing it.
Same
your loss mate
I really love this ac, one of my favorites, actually black flag is the only one I like because I like pirates and the sound tracks they used there, it's so emotional, I love it! But this one is also GREAT!
The hallucinating is an amazing thing. Briliant idea and i think every player will be surprised by it
Also when you spend alot of time in the desert you will hear bayeks heart pounding and his balance be offset by dehydration, great video!
Finally! Well done. Excited for the future of Assassins creed
I love that if you fall from a high point and take damage upon landing, he will limp as he runs for a few seconds after.
I love how realistic they made this game be. It’s cool to see the potential Ubisoft puts into this
I️ noticed and was impressed by a lot of these as I️ played the game as well, didn’t know about the leg though. Good video!
