    Ok. So i i bought this after an hilarious changing of a tire without proper equipment.
    There is definitely a learning curve combined with muscle memory. It saved so much time . The big problem I had was no lubrication. Once I used dawn detergent it worked great. I highly recommend this. Why pay a slow mechanic $50 to mount and dismount tires. .

    The video made it look easy! I bought a set and had my mechanics try it for a month Neither one of them was able to the tools on ANY tires over that month. At first, I thought they were using it wrong. We watched the videos over and over and tried to duplicate the process in the shop. We tried them on 2 sets of 19.5 and two sets of 22.5 wheels & tires and confirmed these things are BS.

    • @lenielupian2699
      @lenielupian2699 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use them all the time & they work as described. There are plenty of videos of these tools being used on TH-cam, are they all photoshopped videos or CGI digitally made videos??? No their not.. (the only BS here is your comment). Or you and your workers incompetence!!!!!!!!.

      Then you guys are fucking idiot's. Probably city mechanics working on auto freightliners in a a.c shop working 9-5 lol we've went through 2 sets of these they can literally change tires in a minute. Like I said. Your probably paid to grease and look at lights on trucks. Any real mechanic can use this .. its common sense. Oh yeah 19.5s and 22.5s. .... yeah you're working on beer trucks and f550s at the most. Try taking care of 86 heavy haul trucks with 3 axle trailers that are off road alot.. we change idk, 10-15 tires a day at 1 shop. Well our guy from highschool does.. we taught him to use the tool is about 10 mining

      ...would have to say NO, but AME offers a tool that will do both, not as fast as this tool on 22.5 but can be used while on the vehicle, it looks like a long red shovel with one bicycle handle grip on the top and is impact driven...not cheap, but I'm currently using it for my 255/70R22.5s.

    • @nicholasjohnson9694
      @nicholasjohnson9694 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      i can tell you for a fact it wont work on 17.5 tires, my shop has the dismount tool so people who arent 250lb gorillas can change 22.5 tires without straining themselves. 17.5 tires and 15s are entirely too tight. even if the tool fit, it takes way too big of a bite to be safe for the tire or work without excessive force. they go on just like this guy is doing it, but you need to be alot more skilled than he is and dont need any fancy tools, just a few standard irons

      You might be able to just use a regular set of tire levers on a 70R15. I managed with winterforce 195/70/R15 without much trouble at all.

    Watch closely at the start. It is not possible to break the bead with a few kicks. That bead was already separated because it already done on a machine.

    • @ranchertrapperdieselbuilds3632
      @ranchertrapperdieselbuilds3632 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dude on a machine? I change these about 15 times a day. If you dont believe me ask me, I will video chat you doing it lol. The bead was broke because you have to break it with a sledge hammer first.. are u fucking stupid. It doesn't show that just like it doesn't show airing the tire back up.. it's not part of what the tool does. You break the bead then stick it down in there with a good kick. Pull it up once for top bead then lay it back over and pull again, pulls the whole tire off. Are people really this stupid? I use this thing literally 15 times a day or more. Its common sense. My God people have no common sense now days. I have no reason to lie but no need in saying oh bullshit. I literally will gladly show any moron how to use it. God damn what a sad world we live in. If you couldn't figure this thing out without a damn video then you are no mechanic no way

    Quite an innovative tool. This sells anywhere from $330 to $392, a ridiculously exhorbitant price for a manual hand tool. I'm sure this was aimed at the DIY market since a professional tire shop wouldn't waste their time and money with this. So, I say to the manufacturer: Where are your brains ? - You just priced yourself out of business.

      a pro can get the tire off in less time and a tenth the cost of tools. just stick with a few irons and spoons and you can take off any tire consistently every time.

    • @ChrisLesmerises
      @ChrisLesmerises 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When you're doing 24 or more of these 24.5s staged up lined across a shop for fleet service, you learn real quick this tool saves your back at a professional tire shop that handles tons of these on the daily. If you get a chance, go to your local tire shop and see about how it feels to pick up just one FR400+the wheel and suddenly never lifting the tire off the ground sounds really nice. This tool quickly became my preferred method for wheels off the truck. Hell, I even managed to use it on a steer wheel still mounted to the truck.

    • @vincekauffman6051
      @vincekauffman6051 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If a dealership is replacing all of the tires on an 18 wheeler, and, assuming they only charge $50/ tire, which is cheap, the tool paid for itself on one job. If tool cost was the only consideration, every tire shop would be using manual tire changers and bubble balancers.

    • @cameronduff884
      @cameronduff884 ปีที่แล้ว

      ...that is a excellent arm chair analysis, however, it just isn't true, this tool must have been exhaustively researched and is the main tool that the busy tire shops use, I even saw them being used at the retread plant, it does have issues with odd sizes and rim configurations but as a fleet tire changer, I have to say, this tool is KING!
