Beth you are such a great mom! And omg you are so busy! I have two under two and you inspire me so much to be the best mom I can. Your videos are fantastic, they truly help me navigate being a young mom to two little ones. I was not raised with religion but I am feeling the pull more and more these days.
I remember that book! My mom used to make gingerbread men pancakes to my siblings and I because of that book. I totally forgot about that memory thank you!
Ahh Beth! I love this so much and I am so inspired by you. You are so fun to watch and I love all your content! I loved watching this vlog and it’s getting me in the Christmas spirit! Thank you for always being so real and authentic and I love that about you. I love seeing your day to day life with your kids and with the holidays coming up it’s even more cozy. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Aw I’m sorry!! I wish I had a code for both too 😭 on the bright side they also have a sale going on for Black Friday on Amazon Canada too! amzn.to/492zGxf
I’m curious to get your perspective on Santa. My husband and I have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. We have chosen to focus Christmas on Jesus as the reason for the season and instead emphasize that Santa is just a fun character but he isn’t real. This has gotten us some unexpected feedback from family. If you did the same, how have you handled the negative comments?
Haha yes this can be a tricky one! Santa is just a character in our house. He’s about as real as any other character in their books. 🤪 We don’t avoid Santa content in books or movies but also aren’t overly emphasizing the Santa narrative. Naturally small children (age 2-4) think pretty well every character is real which is normal developmentally. When they’re a bit older we’ll be honest if they have questions but don’t feel like it’s neccessary to harp on Santa not being real right now because: a) neither is Mickey Mouse and they don’t realize that either and b) toddlers are very honest and my kids would spill the beans to all their friends if I told them now (and that wouldn’t be fair to their friends). 😂 we usually say that one of their presents is from Santa!
I feel like it doesn’t need to be an either/or thing. The fun and magic of Santa can be something they enjoy while still being taught that the holiday of Christmas is about Christ. I think it’s important to raise our children in Christian culture, but I also think it’s important not to isolate them from the culture of other people they’re going to be close to. Why shouldn’t they enjoy Easter with my dad and Pascha (the Orthodox Christian celebration of Easter) with us?
You could try it if they’re completely cool! They’re pretty crackly (not crunchy, just like actual cracks along the cookies when they’re done baking) so they’re more likely to break apart than a regular gingerbread recipe would be
I only have a 6 month old so I haven’t vetted this movie for toddlers yet, but you and Jared should watch Klaus this year! It’s a kids movie with actually funny humor and the best themes of brotherhood and growth I’ve ever seen 🥹 Actually my favorite movie ever. Watched it last year while pregnant and sobbed through the whole thing
Always love your videos!🫶🏽 expecting our second in january, and it always encourages me to see how you handle motherhood with multiple kiddos!

Most sponsorship stuff doesn’t really apply to me but I can confirm that we have digital frames for our grandparents as well and they are a hit!

The best, coziest vlog ever!
I loved the cozy vibes here and how your family avoids consumerism over the holiday season!
Loved the long video! Thanks for providing some Christmas cheer!
Wow I was just trying to figure out what to get my in laws and they would LOVE this frame.
Watching this while I crochet mini stockings ❤ My daughter goes to a Mother's Day Out Preschool, and I'm making one for all 14 of her classmates!
I’ve never heard of a Wife Saver but that is such a fantastic idea! Saving a recipe I found to my favorites for later. Thanks girly 😘

Can I ask, what toy shelf you have? The open one with one shelf? Thank you!!
What temp is the oven and how long are the cookies in there for? My daughter and I can’t wait to make them. 🎄🤩
Good question - just added the recipe to the description box! 😂 350 and bake for 10-11 minutes!

I got my kids a little tree at hobby lobby! Not sure if that's a thing in Canada 😆
Noooo and I seriously wish it was 😭
Do you do Santa with your kids?
For these cookies could you cut them with cookie cutters for Christmas shaped cookies with your kids or does this dough not work with that
You could try it if they’re completely cool! They’re pretty crackly (not crunchy, just like actual cracks along the cookies when they’re done baking) so they’re more likely to break apart than a regular gingerbread recipe would be
Where is the link to the cookies? Trying to make them. They look amazing
It’s my own recipe! Put it in the description box ☺️
Thank you! I made them. So good!!! New favorite cookie recipe for sure! ❤
You could split your videos in half bc its great content!
Aw thank you! Wanted to test doing a special long vid for Christmas - I know it’s longer than my usual vlogs but thought it could be fun🎄❤️
I want to make these cookies but you didn’t mention the oven temperature and how long to bake them for. Please help! 😅
LOL I just realized that - put the full recipe in the description box! But bake at 350 for 10 or 11 minutes!
