Do you have any use for meta RSS feeds, even if it's just the basic example of creating a list of the articles that you haven't read yet. Let me know down below.

I was actually looking for something exactly like his just so i can open a few different subreddits with pictures all at once, it's amazing that we can always find new stuff about newsboat.

I really like the idea of a terminal RSS but when I look at that long list of Reddit posts without any sort of images I would just freeze up and not know what to look like. I go through Reddit by looking at the image first and so this would slow me down.

It is being a long time since I last used newsboat, but I think that when you "read" the last article and press the shortcut to go to the next article, it selects the first unread article in the next feed.

    guys could you help me?
i want to query all the unread articles, from a tag (i have news, core-news, tech, core-tech). these are not working:
    "query:NEWS UNREAD:unread = \"yes\" and tags # \"core-news\""
    "query:NEWS UNREAD:(unread = \"yes\") and (tags # \"core-news\")"

Just putting this here, if you want to open links in a browser independently from newsboat:
    browser "nohup $BROWSER %u > /dev/null 2>&1 &"
    and for mpv:
    macro w set browser "nohup mpv %u > /dev/null 2>&1 &" ; open-in-browser ; set browser "nohup $BROWSER %u > /dev/null 2>&1 &"

I'm stuck on Newsboat 2.10. I'm on Mint 19.3 (based on 18.04 bionic).
Is it safe to find some way to install the newer versions even though the Mint repos restrict me to 2.10?

You'll just lose the benefit of the package manager, as long as you can compile and run it there's no reason why you can't use it.
