As a Filipino I have to say THANK YOU SIR.. Specially for your kindness! welcome to Philippines sir and injoy your stay.. Your a good man, keep it up sir.. Thank you once again..
The hospitality of Filipinos is rooted in our culture. Francis at his very young age and social status showed it all. The friendliness, the willingness to help a stranger and show them around. The kindness and openess that he even invited you to his house and meet his family. They don't have much but they would share whatever they have. You have no idea how you made him feel real good. When you first saw him in the alleys of Tondo and he started showing you around he wasn't really expecting anything in return. I remember seeing when you first offered to buy him food and he said no. The stuff that you bought him are just a bonus. Notice how he kept saying thank you every time. He is grateful for the things that you gave to him but most importantly he is very happy he was able to help out a visitor. Kudos to Francis and thank you Marco for giving him that opportunity.
What a sweet kid, amazing to immediately invite you to his home. You could tell he thought Marcus was a lost tourist and was taking him to the police station for help lol. His whole family was so kind and inviting too. Everyone you met seemed nice and welcoming.

We need more people like Francis in this world. I could watch this daily. I didn't want it to end to be honest. The people there seemed genuine and kind.
I watched the video before this one and I must say, God worked his wonder when he made your paths crossed in Tondo. It's like God saying, "Hmm. Tondo is a very dangerous place for you Marco, but here's a good kid to guide you on your way around and out." Thanks for paying it forward. This kid will never forget this experience.

What a beautiful video
Dude this is one of the most wholesome travel vlogs i have seen, making genuine human connections is what travelling is all about!
Thanks so much. Probably because it was completely unplanned and organic to give that day, nothing set up, just vlogging and this was the story
What a sweet kid, amazing to immediately invite you to his home. You could tell he thought Marcus was a lost tourist and was taking him to the police station for help lol. His whole family was so kind and inviting too. Everyone you met seemed nice and welcoming.
yes thats exactly right, what an honorable young boy wanting to take the lost tourist to the police...bravo francis
That last part slices a bunch of onion right through my eyes!
I’m a Filipino myself but living here in US, Filipinos are naturally kind and joyful people, hospitality is a next level! I hope your vlog about 🇵🇭 will return you 10x in your kindness!Thank you🙏🇵🇭
This has to be one of my most favorite videos. That young man will never forget you. I have been to the Philippines twice and I'm blown away how friendly the people are. Even with the extreme poverty, they all seem happy. On my next trip I want to do what you did.
We need more people like Francis in this world. I could watch this daily. I didn't want it to end to be honest. The people there seemed genuine and kind.
Man, even though it may not seem like much, what you did for this kid probably made a huge difference in his life.
Nice guy and the kid very thankful and grateful for everything. It was touching for him to say Thank You Lord for giving me a good friend. ❤❤❤
🙌🏽 thanks for the comment!
The boy feel loved
. His face is so innocent , .. looks like he wanted to go with you more ..
God Bless you for your kindness .
I completely agree.
I was actually lost in there and we just happened to cross paths in that exact moment 🙌🏽
Thanks for the nice comment :)
THANKS FOR SHOWING LOVE THE LESS FORTUNATE.I WILL KEEP SEEING YOU.😊😊
You could tell how genuine Francis was. It almost brought me to tears thinking about how hard a life it must be trying to get by but having someone offer things like this to him must have meant so much. I wish the best for him.

Love, love your guardian angel, Francis! Very well raised and mannered, very appreciative. Some things never change, kudos to the parents who raised him.
Exactly!
I can tell you the kids in Australia are not like this (usually)
@@marcoroams i am sure you were raised a good one by your parents😊
I guess he is his guardian Angel..i felt a bit weird thinking that they are just both walking on the street and ended up showing him so many things..making Marco see the true heart of Filipinos.and also i used to live in Australia for a long time and i know how generous they are too.
The prayer of the kid really is the most amazing part of this video.
What a good kid Francis is! Made me smile throughout the whole video
You met a decent kid. You have my admiration for how polite and friendly you are to other Filipinos. Thank you🙂
Of course! The Filipino people are great 😁
Thanks mate for making Francis's day great and showing how hospitable Filipinos are. Not everyone in the slums is bad, they are just trying to live day by day just like everybody else.
Hi Marco, Francis whisper thank you lord for meeting a good friend, I love this kid, thank you for kindness, I love to help Francis just don't know how, I'm forever grateful.
That is probably the first time this kid taste Jolibee. Thanks for being so generous. A little tip here and there goes a long way for ordinary Pilipinos who are just trying to survive day by day.
Thanks man!
I’d say he’s had it a few times, but not often.
It was cool I got to try it too 😍
New subscriber here❤️Francis is kind young boy..Thanks Marco
Omg, I got teary eyed when you said that the kid told you it was the best day of his life! Thanks for helping him out 💙💚🖤

I am in Canada, I love Fillipino people and worked with a number of them in my nursing days. LOVE their sweet nature, both men and women. This little guy is a gem. I said a prayer for him> May God protect him and his family always. The poor people always give with their hearts.. Thank you for helping him. I think you helped alot. God bless you
I've realized to be grateful to God with the little i have 🙏 ... thnks for the good work marco

Bro on everything I love this video really touch my soul . Real People do real things . God Bless you bro 🙏
He was an amazing boy, his smile throughout the whole day just said it all. You gave him a day to remember forever x
Thank you for returning the favor for Francis, a lot of people would just give him some change and not think twice, but you bothered to hang around with him, ask what he likes and make his day awesome. Good soul!
Your path crossed for a reason. I wish for a good future for Francis. He seems to be a great kid! Those small groceries would mean a lot to him and his family.
His mom got surprise when you arrived😂 i cant stop 😂😂😂😂😂 Our country is not good as other country in term of housing and basics needs but the people here loves to interact with someone like you❤
😂
"awit to si james, bkt ka nag dala nyan dito" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH
Yeah, most Filipino moms like to prepare their houses for guests and look presentable. They treat guests better than their own family members haha
Hahahahahaha
Thank you for another great video. I love your style, your humble approach, and your aussie accent. You remind me of the early Harald Baldr, in a good way. Keep up the good work, and stay awesome! Greetings from a new subscriber in Norway.
Thank you buddy!! Appreciate that,
Maybe you are Harald Baldr with that name and from Norway haha
Appreciate the donation man! I will make sure I help some people out in future thanks to you
What a sweet teenager. :) Love his kind/sweet personality. His family were lovely and welcoming too. That ride in the motorbike side car looks scary AF!

What a great kid, i don't think he realised you weren't leaving with him at first and was sad. Hope he is well and enjoying his new clothes
Yeah he did look sad! But I had to go,
Catch ups with him next month 🥳
@marcoroams bro please start a gofund me, I'd be more than happy to donate towards giving that kid and his family the headstart in life that they deserve 😊 I've saved this video to watch again if I ever need my faith being restored in humanity. Such kindness, friendliness and appreciativeness is very rare to find these days. 💚 me and my filipina watching from Ireland 🤘
Yup! completely genuine kid. It touch my heart, no family should be living in a very small cramp room like that. But Kudos to this guy for helping Francis.
😊 thank you
You’re a good Man Marco. Thanks for your kindness. I really enjoyed the Vlog
What a heart warming video, Thank you Marco. I was stationed in Izmir, Turkey just prior to the gulf war and my heart went out to so many families there just scraping buy. I remember the smiles and absolute gratitude that I got just for buying a family a bag or two of food. Some of the best people I have ever met & taught me just how good I have it; VERY HUMBLING.
If that kid would be given half a chance he would do well in life, hes a good kind hearted person!!
What beautiful people, you included. Great video man
He said when he tose the coin in wishing spot " thank you lord for having a nice friend"..
That is so nice!
I fell in love with this video. I even got emotional. Amazing video. I want to thank you so much for what you did for that child. even when you got the other children something to drink. You wasn’t aggressive as you approach the locals or rude. You got my respect 100. Francis will always remember… This is one! Video I didn’t want to end
Thank you so much! You can watch Part 2 now, 3 months later
