nice vid, what caused you to cross over? have same prob here. did three tracks in my life and on all of theme was crossing over left and right the formation. What you use to move left and right? You work with your arms or shoulders?
Nice video, thanks. When you briefly talked about the size of your canopy and the distance to the landing area on opening, I was just wondering: could you tell us which wingload you're flying, maybe even in correlation w/ the jumpnumbers? There is so much talk going on about down- and upsizing, not to go too far too quickly etc., so it would be nice to get your point of view on that topic.
pern, it would be great if you could make a video explaining how to set up an exit plan for tracking jumps... I mean, where exactly to leave the plane to do the tracking jump and, of course, to be able to make it back to the landing area. Best regards, mate.
I can make a video about what I’ve learned but always keep in mind that other dzs could run things differently so it’s always good to ask the S&TA and load organizers how to exit safely and what the dropzone regs are. Coaching is always recommended when trying something new, I cringe when I’m at the loading area and I hear someone say they’re doing a “solo freefly” lol
Thanks. In FCPX Ibring the highlights up a little past 100, bring the shadows up to about 15-20 for more detail, and bring the mids down a bit for contrast. Just a little. Then I’ve been applying the Orange and Teal ‘look’ with some custom settings, very very light. I want to start building more custom looks but I do a lot so thanks for noticing! Much appreciated :)
hello from Brazil, mate ! nice video, good improvements ! i hope i can pay you guys a visit some day and make jumps with you ! i´d love to jump in that Dropzone, so beautiful and wide !
295 jumps in, can not seem to get the hang of angles. Too flat or too divey, can't seem to find the middle ground And Damn do I feel your pain on bricking the exits haha. So many (unintentional) barrel rolls
Bro it has taken like 40-50 jumps to be able to really start getting it. And I’ve got a long way to go. Angle flying is very close to head down, it’s a tough discipline!
@@PernDog Ya it's a funny sport. Some stuff clicks right away and most of it I'm miles behind that learning curve. Can't be too upset though if you make it back down healthy ya know? Still got to fly through the sky for a bit
+David Sim thanks! And here’s my advice: enjoy it. You’ll never do your first skydive again. Breath deeply on the ride up, and take a big breath when you’re in the door before you go. Then jump!
Doing my second full day with Dan next Wednesday….still a work in progress. Thanks for posting.
Hope you had a good time!
Great video, that's for you clarity and honesty 👍
Thanks I appreciate it
Finally some kinda instructions about Freefall skills...Go ahead!!
Thanks a lot! I’ll try to post more informative videos as I progress
Way to put yourself out there for others to learn!!! Shaka brah

Lack of skill lol - I know better than to cross but when there’s a turn it happens fast! Angle flying is difficult!!
Great format - really like how you've put it all together.
Thanks Robert I've only got like 250 jumps but I thought it would be cool to share some progression videos.
Loved your Vlog, great to learn a bit about angle flying. Look forward to more
It's one of the things I'm really passionate about learning, hopefully I can get better! Gotta keep hitting the DZ for experience points lol

Solid idea for a video!

Go get first hand coaching, that is the best way to learn.

Hi, what are your colour grading settings please? It looks really great!

PernDog awesome, thanks for the quick and detailed reply!
No problem. The color correction and grading is constant and ongoing for me, always trying to get better
Hello bud, I didn’t see what was wrong with the exit that you said you bricked, what was the issue?
I went head down and got low on the formation
thanks for the low-down@@PernDog
great job!
Thank you for sharing. I want learn myself as soon as I can fly head-down ! ;-) That will take some time.
It does take time! I’m working on freeflying this year as well. My sit stinks and I backslide a lot.
Slow speed tunnel slow speed tunnel slow speed tunnel. Hours hours hours hour and more hours on the tunnel doing slow speed.
Nice video , thank´s for sharing !
Thanks a lot 🤙🏻

Damn a response under a minute wow! Thanks dude. Have fun, you got a new sub. Blue skies
Yeah I got notifications turned on. Glad you like the videos hit me up if you’re ever in Sebastian
@@PernDog I will for sure thanks! Same goes for you in the Netherlands
Thanks for the info, as I newbie those positional things seem counterintuitive, I learned a lot.
Don’t know how I got here.. so tired I thought it said ANGEL fly 👼🏼 smh .. I’m so 🤪.. good video though! 🤣
Welcome! Glad you liked the video 🤙🏻 it's about as close as I can get lol
I love your vlogs Perndog! Doing my AFF in 2 weeks! Any advice?
