The year Sarkodie released his first single was the same year Wizkid released his. Wizkid blew up same year internationally, but Sarkodie didn't. There's never been a time when Sarkodie was ahead of Wizkid, so, I don't understand if this is just for clout. Nigerians have a lot of respect for Sarkodie & acknowledge his talent, but Sarkodie only became known with his song "U go kill me" in 2013, by the time which Wizkid was already a Superstar.
