- A travel guide for riding the new Sentosa Island Line of the Singapore Cable Car. The Sentosa Line, was opened on 14 July 2015 and 890 metres in length. The older line is now called the Mount Faber Line. Both lines are physically separate, and visitors need to walk 3 to 5 minutes from the original Sentosa station to the Imbiah Lookout station. The new line links Siloso Point to the Merlion station, with the Merlion station also providing a link with the Sentosa Express. The new S$78 million line has 51 eight-seater cabins and is able to move about 2,200 people per hour in one direction.

I love those views of Singapore from the cable car. I would easily ride those cable cars for the views alone, but it is cool to hear about the different places of interest at each end.
I rode it 3 times round trip making this video.. the views are pretty neat! :)
so excited with my singapore trip next week
+Ian Paul Saligumba Wheeeeee! Have a good time! :)
Yellow Productions, this cable car opens on 14 July 2015.
Are you gonna make more Singapore travel guides? Like jurong bird park or Singapore flyer.
Hi Team Timmeh.. I hope to return to Singapore. But not sure when that might be
@@YellowProductions I can wait for that, have a nice day!
What the camera you used to film this? It's very nice!
Hi, visiting Singapore shortly, plz tell me... Should I board on cable car from mount Faber park to get d maximum views all d way to sentosa ? Does d price remains d same....And if I take that route, will I be able to ride d car in sentosa with d same ticket or do I need to buy a different one....And lastly can I get back to mainland in sentosa express? Where do I get d tickets from .....Thanks
Yes..board from Mt Faber for the best views. You can buy a combo ticket that includes the cable car on the island as well. To take the Sentosa Express back to the mainland no tickets are needed..just get on :)
@@YellowProductions thanks a lot....Really appreciate
Singapore cable car or Hong Kong cable car which is best
The Hong Kong Cable car is much longer. So I'd pick Hong Kong
Do we have to share the cable car with others? Or we get a private one even if we're alone?
If it's busy you'll share a cable car. If you get there when they open in the morning (like I did), then you'll have a private one even if you're alone because it isn't busy
I remember that. The Silas sky walk leads to the fort.

Most videos or pics I've seen the views are a bit hazy. Is that the norm?
Singapore is so hot and humid that yes, it is often hazy and grey
Why Did You Took The Pink One?It Not Very Save As My Grandson Is Scared Of It
+Irawati Ng I think they just put me in the pink one :)
Yellow Productions, OK.
Are you in travel around the world?
+ainier88 I do travel to quite a few places around the world.
Rides times? Do still remember last ride time?
Sentosa line is open 8:45am to 10pm. Last boarding is 9:30pm
How to get to sky walk sir?os this cable car start from harbourfront ya for the new line?thanks alot
Harborfront is a station on the old line.. basically take the old cable car from harborfront to Sentosa Island. Once on Sentosa transfer to the new cable car line. Take the new cable car line all the way to the end, and the skywalk entrance will be about 50 meters from that cable car station
Ever checked out Universal Studios Singapore? I think that's on Sentosa as well.
I haven't gotten a chance to visit Universal Studios Singapore. It is indeed on Sentosa.
Nice.
Thanks!
Rumor is that Disney will be putting these same Model of Cable cars in Disney World, I see they have no air conditioning and how comfortable are they.
+patricksp71 Hopefully they put in A.C. in them.. they are hot!
did you See the merlions
+he hua The big Merlion in Sentosa? I saw it.. but I didn't go "in" it
I am a winner ....👩🎓
rmb a dog died there and a japanese buff teenager who wanted to practice his family secret art jumped out of the cable car
