The A-line & NC-line around Selma, NC: ft EMD Exports - 5/7/2023

Footage from a day trackside around Selma, NC on the CSX A-line, South End Subdivision (former Atlantic Coast Line main) and Norfolk Southern NC-line (former Southern Railway line to Goldsboro).
Although most of this video was shot around Selma, some footage from nearby Smithfield and Pine Level are also featured in this video. A highlight of the day was six EMD export locomotives (GT46ACs) heading east to the Port of Morehead City on Norfolk Southern. The export motors were heading to Gabon in central/western Africa.
Rail action picked up on the CSX A-line throughout the afternoon and evening with traffic running between the Northeast and Florida.

It was a real treat to see those EMD Exports in person for once. Great video around Selma.

Was able to watch some at work. Had to rollback some of it to watch again. Interesting to see the foreign exports go from one railroad to another on the way to Morehead City.

Selma is a pretty site for railfanning but that 1.607 csx was short during the day when Amtrak is running there short sometimes but the build up a good size train
