"Happy Xmas" is Clapton’s 24th studio album and his first since 2016’s “I Still Do.” It mixes instantly recognizable holiday classics with lesser-known unique titles along with an original new song “For Love On Christmas Day.” The album also features cover art illustration by Clapton himself.
"I had in my head that these holiday songs could be done with a slight blues tinge, and I started to figure out how to play the blues lines in between the vocals,” said Clapton, who co-produced "Happy Xmas" with longtime music producer Simon Climie. “I got it down and one of the most identifiable songs on the album, the one that became the foundational style, is ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.”

He's finally at a great place in his life. Been sober since 1987, far far away from the white stuff. He's able to finally love himself, and live a good and happy life, and Im definitely happy for him.

I was young, I was 13, I didn't know what about my future... So I saw a grafitti, "Clapton is God", it impressed me so I became a pro guitarist... 🤗💗
This brings me back to how I got my first and current guitar. My family and I were in the same situation for a long time and I was desperately dreaming about a guitar. I was really in love with blues and I couldn't stop listening or thinking about it even for a moment. As the months passed, I started to lose my hope about it but then, a very close friend of my father ( you can count him as a celebrity i guess) gave me an old Gibson Les Paul Custom White ( identical to this guitar's colour) almost for a no cost, and I remember that It brought tears to my eyes. That guitar was waaay beyond my dreams and even seeing it gave me the goosebumps in that moment. Since then, I play Maggie (my guitar) with such a passion and love.
