Manipur is a very complex issue which cannot be at all understood by spending few days here or watching few news reports. Meites have never started the violence though we have committed some mistakes. So please don't blame Meiteis when we are defending our very existence. Meites had sheltered these very Kukis when they were slaughtered by Nagas in 1990's Naga-Kuki clash. Kukis also had violent clash with Paites in 1996-97 and Meites brokered peace that time also. Now they are turning against Meites.
