Factory tours are simply wonderful insights into what makers do so well. I'm excited to see what Sirena produces in the 35-50m range. The renderings look fantastic.

Beautiful shapes. As far as design goes they take first price in my book. Cheers David. More factory tours please.

As an epoxy artist, I use scales to weigh out perfect mix. I can do with a maxing mashine like that .... awesome yard and yachts

This is a great channel! It satisfies my need to see the inner workings of yacht building. I have always been one who wanted to see the technical areas of yachts. Keep up the great work!

Hi David. I love a factory tour. The empty molds, watching a section built, the steel works and tanks and the fitting out. Great video thanks 😊

Awesome facility... for me the 78 is my favorite model. Was wondering if they're planning to use hybrid propulsion or new tech for the bigger yacths ... thanks for sharing..

I like the Sirena yachts design, especially the 88, but I'm not a huge fan of GRP yachts, but when you said that their new Super Yacht line would be made from steel and aluminum I had to put on the breaks! That is sensational news and I can't wait to see what they have to offer.

Very interesting! Thanks for your efforts David, much appreciated and your team mates produce very high quality stuff for sure. Lastly, thanks also for ditching that old blip bloppy stock muzak and modernizing into this kind of sound. 😉

... nice pair of shoes, David ... they look bespoke? ... but, similiar to hull re-inforcements, it's all in a good fit , whatevery technique you use? ... it's just gotta' be comfort cozy fit #1 ... from the workshops to the office area's ... wonderfully clean & organized ... I think I missed my calling, I love to see the sewing machines 'at work' LOL

What makes Sirena different from many other shipyards is that, they get a vast manufacturing knowledge base because of the same group also producing minibuses and buses. In 2011, they were runners up in New York's `new generation' cab manufacturing, only loosing to Nissan.

I have heard that their steel hulled Superyacht models will be produced at RMK Marine which had been producing bespoke steel Superyachts already for years. The fact that the RMK belongs to the Koç Holding who are related to the owners of the Sirena Marine does not hurt either. So, it is not an abrupt transition from vinyl ester to steel. The group already has a lot of experience with steel hulled yachts, only this time it will be serial production.

Sirena Marine has brought the automotive industry-level engineering build standards to boating. Hence their motorboats sell like hot cookies with such level of build quality and design.

One of my favorites in the fiberglass arena. Horizon, Absolute and Greenline being the others. Excited to see what they bring for the superyacht series, but I didn't see a boat deck or any place for tender storage. At least on the outside, so I assume it's internal storage like Baglietto does? However they. Do it, pretty Excited. Since their current boats are somewhat explorer styled, not rated obviously, will, their superyachts be explorer yachts? Steel hull so I assume Category A rated, but will these displacement, fast displacement or the explorer displacement type?

I keep wondering Why? Why the somewhat odd lengths of yachts? 58, 68, 78, 88. why not a 50 ft, 60, 70, 80 ft yachts? The only reason I can see is if a new model is an upgrade and it started out at 65ft, 75 ft, and was increased an extra couple of feet for some sort of improvements. My all time, top of the list is a Fareline Squadron 68, just love this vessel, but why 68? Why not a 70, or a 65, this has been a source of confusion for a while. Your thoughts?

The only problem with Sirena Marine is, their motor yachts are in such a demand that, their success in that department casts a shadow to their sailing yacht department. They are not actively marketing with their excellent sailing boat brands Azuree Yachts and Euphoria Yachts and no new sailing yacht models in the past 3 years.

Love most of the tours but this one not so much. I'm concerned about that rigidity frame for the hull. how is it attached? Is it just glue or do they also tab it in to the hull? My concerns are that the ones built into the hull from the start are much more securely installed and leave little doubt about weak points. I've seen this done in smaller monohull sailboats and when the bond fails the boat is scrap. Also, not sure I want a bus guy building my boat, I would have left that part out. Looking forward to your next video.

Alternatively, the other shipyard(s) does a better job with the gel coat and maintaining the mold so they can get 20 uses out of it.
