Hi I would like to ask because we have an approved home and land package, We are paying for the land for 7 mons now. We have a problem with our build. We were supposed to start last Aug but the permit was not approved. Our build is going to cast a shadow to the established houses. So we have to change to a single storey house. I would like to know. Do we have to reapply for the loan or just update the bank?thanks

Thanks Grace, that's a great question. It would be wise to let the bank know of the changes. They'd likely need to complete a new valuation as well as update the loan approval. So yes, they will need to most likely re-assess the application.

Does the bank require credit card statements as well?

Each bank is different with assessment, some will and some won't need a credit card statement.
