Great Video ,, I love how Lori anticipates every move , and has the tools at the ready .. Makes the job so much easier.. I have worked with others where they have no idea... not fun.. Keep the vids coming ,, always look forward to the next one :)
I watch these videos as much for relationship advice as I do for watching a couple work with their hands to earn a living in rural America. It is a distinct pleasure and I’m eternally grateful!
Wow, that means so much to hear! We love sharing our story with you. That’s awesome!!!!!!! We’ve had 24 years(30 total!!!!!) of learning to get it right, mostly hahah. Thank you!!!!!!
I hadn't seen the hard working Okies in a while, but yall are still at it. Great. I finally got mine up and running. Mine is kinda old, but was running when I bought it. He couldn't date it, A 7FG, but it pumps! I had a tank by it dug out and the dirt guy used 18 yards of clay to the bottom. I wasn't there to watch, but all looks great. Now I must build a small fence around the base, I have seen in your installments the trouble the girls can make. Well God Bless and Hello from Central Texas!
Yep we’re still here! We have been busy and only time to do 1 video a week. It is very time consuming to film and edit. We’re not going anywhere! That’s awesome about your mill! I like how y’all call them tanks down there. That aught to hold some water then!!!! Yep cows will do a number on a tower and stand pipe for sure!!!! Thank you for watching down in Central Texas! We will be heading through there soon on the way to San Angelo to pick up the next really big windmill project. 😀
Thank you!!! I had a good trainer!!!! We really do, which a lot of people we talk to mention that could not work with their spouse daily. We are lucky!
Haha yep! I bet they are now! We have to react quickly, but Lori takes the cake! Smashing the clutch as fast as she did really made it possible for nothing terrible to happen. ❤️
New subscriber here! I think I’ve watched at least 10 of your videos today. My uncle was a water well driller in West Texas around Lubbock. I have so much respect for him and all the hard work that he did. But I only got to go work with him and my cousin a couple of times when I was young, I appreciate you showing all the details of how the windmills work. My uncle is the reason I went back into the military after doing five years. He said it was stupid and should stay in so I can retire after 20. So here I am after 30 years about to retire, and still respect that man for talking me back into joining. Love your videos keep on crushing it!
Buddy thank you for that awesome story! I’m glad we’re taking you back. Thank you for spending your valuable time with us. Thank you also for subscribing. Last, but not least, thank you for serving our Country! Happy Thanksgiving!
Love watching you two! You and Lori are a great team and down home folks... Love it! Watching from Bulacan in the Philippines (originally from Oregon).
Entertaining video. I pulled the pipe (3 inch galvanized steel with hard-wood rods) from our farm well (170 feet) using an old block and tackle. I was only 13 years old. I replaced the old cylinder (maybe 4 inch brass) and dropped it all back into the well, connected the little cast-steel pump-jack to the last rod and it worked like a charm. I am 73 now, so it was fun watching you two work. Happy New Year. :) Marcel from Saskatchewan.
Wow that’s amazing!! That’s some heavy stuff right there!!!!!!!! I bet that was a cool setup!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for watching all the way up in Saskatchewan!!!!!!!!!
HAHAHA yep I haven’t seen her move that fast in a while!!!!! We really think they’re were sweet, and meant no harm, just wanted to be in your back pocket at all times!!!!!!!!
Thank you Sir! I hear you about relaxing! Sometimes when I’m proof watching it, I doze off because I lived it, edited it, and now trying to watch it lol!!!!!!!!
I love watching another good one. Your vids are just fun. Dunno “what you pay”, but if I had money, I’d pay to work with you. Instead, I just wish. Keep going, I’ll keep watching.
I love watching another good one. Your vids are just fun. Dunno “what you pay”, but if I had money, I’d pay to work with you. You keep the vids coming and I’ll keep wishing.
Thank you!!!!! I don’t know what we payed there, since neither of us gets paid, lol! Momma should get paid more than I do if we were to get paid!!!!! You would love working with us!
That’s what I was thinking when you asked your partner, should we take it all the way out. You’re that far into it, so to not take it the rest of the way out would be foolish. I didn’t know it had two leathers in it. Another reason to take it apart, for content. When I was a young roofer we fired our tar kettles on kerosene and you had to pump it up to make the burner blow , once it was hot. Those pumps only had one leather and I don’t remember them being in the shape of a cup, I remember them being more flat. Thanks for the video. Watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸🦅 ! No Snow Just Breeze !
Man awesome! Watching from Florida! Bet it’s warmer there now than it is here! Yep these could have 1, 2, or 3 leathers. Always best to go ahead and pull it. Thank you for watching and commenting!!!!!!!!
As soon as I clicked on this and saw that scrubby pasture it took me back. I grew up on a cattle spread over by Poteau, maybe a little bit hillier but about the same. Good luck to you both.
you know that cow was thinking .stop flapping your mouth and get my water. work in the dry area of oregon. i swear they can smell water. i would watch them and start digging. if i hit water they came and ran me off. i was there for fencing. but if you got a backhoe. why not just take a peek. springs out of no where has always amazed me.
As always, interesting. How long do you think it would take that tank to fill again? Of course wind has a lot to do with it.😊 Thanks for making these videos.
Thank you! I bet it was full the next morning. I have a much smaller pump on mine here at the house, and it will fill an 8’ tank overnight. That 10’ isn’t too much bigger.

If you could get it thick enough that it’s not flexible, it would work. It would have to be at least 1” with a fairly thick wall. You’re right tho, I bet the cost would scare people off. It’s pretty cheap to have us come and replace one stick or the whole string of plastic. This is the only 2-1/2” cylinder I have under plastic, which is probably the main reason it breaks. This gentleman wanted more water than the 2” that was originally in it. He didn’t mind us coming by and fixing it every couple years, and we would squeeze in an oil change while there.
i found in septic most people did not want to read. hand them a book and they never came back. the ones that did are making really really good money. the first year sucked. but when they found out out i had a mini excavator. then it wasn't so bad i would not use it unless i had to. liked keeping in shape. and i did not trust some people hooking up the pipe at the right bubble.

Government figured out a quick look it is right color right size , and looking a little closer date stamp can show illegal or home improvement without permits got to get that tax dollar
