More Easy Paste Paper

Just found your site, very clear and interesting. When you have made the paste paper for book covers do you have to add any coatings ie acrylic wax of bees wax to make the book covers more robust or is the paper OK as it is?

Thanks and apologies for the late reply. I sometimes add a mixture of beeswax and white spirits, depending on what I'm going to use it for. I have used an acrylic varnish in the past, but found that that messed up the texture of the paste paper.
