      But what is not clear to me is whether yall are saying Brahman is a thing, or not a thing. Even as a conceptual presence, or realizing that one is Brahman, that still sounds like a thing. So, are we talking about a thing, or simply the falling away of illusion that there is any fundamentally different nature to anything?

    Jiva Gosvami said in his Sat Sandarbhas, that the Absolute very well is accessible through speech and can be related through speech.
    The author Bruce Martin gave a short introduction into that by his essay "the language of Transcendence".

    I am delighted to experience this teaching. Very appreciative. Subscribing. (Watching from the USA.) Two questions come to mind. Clearly they are not original with me. They are: How can one absolutely rule out duality while living in a duality that begs our attention constantly. Perhaps that is the fundamental or most common human question. The second question is related. How can we speak of anything without duality? Even to speak of this something, by whatever name, that is beyond the division between duality and duality, when such an idea is itself a concept. That is, how can we use our minds without concepts--which are informed by and from sensory experience? These are sincere questions, not argument teasers. Our brains seem "wired for duality".

    One comment about the video presentation. The frequent blurring of the screen is rather hard on my nervous system, my ability to focus. It distracts my attention from the spoken content. I don't have the technical knowledge to offer a solution.

    Brahman is the infinite unmanifest. Out of nothing comes everything. The original empty dream. Timeless, existenceless, and so forth. That is why if you wish to manifest anything, this is where you must go, you must go to the absolute emptiness, let it go, allow it to come to you, simple. The second you force it in any way, it acts as a magnet and pushes you away, that's why the only way to approach what you want is to surrender, to allow it to drag you in, as if you had no polarity, no wishes, no thoughts, empty. It need not be so complicated, you have been doing it you whole existence, there is only that. Even creating the absence of what you want, the absolute opposite of what you are looking for, is coming forth from brahman, through your athman into your reality.
    You are only capable of that, nothing else, everything works the same way, from you to the big empty, from the big empty to you, back and forth. So make plans in your mind, let them go(to the void) then calibrate to the void within you, and allow the plans you made to come forth manifest in whatever way they come and be thankful of what you get, for you always get it how you wanted it, if it isn't to your liking, you need look no further than within yourself as the source of what went wrong. Or more accurately what you perceived as something going wrong, because it didn't. It came exactly how it was supposed to, as you wanted it to. The distortion that makes you seek these kind of videos to begin with, to read this kind of comments comes from you, from your ideas, your thoughts, your belief, your experience, you must forget what is in order to get what could be. Forgetting is your greatest skill, master the art of forgetting in order to travel to new exciting places. Make room within. So just like I can type infinitely, going in circles saying the same thing in an infinite different ways, you can create anything you desire, if you could just forget it. Cheerio!

    We exist for being who we are, but we are not what we think we are, we are not what we feel we are. We are all that is to experience, the bliss of existing, as only by staying at peace you are neither with your ego and nor with your super ego. We all start out as an idea, which turns into action, into possibility of reality and reality manifests itself. We be devoid of qualities, be nirgun -as to be of matter , you require qualities which reflects to the world so that it manifests because we will always be a reflection to observer. So all we get to experience is life itself ie. limitless, devoid of any quality and is all the final sum, the consciousness.

    Plotinus wrote beautifully about the absolute in exactly the same terms you have expressed. It is beyond duality and thus beyond language or concepts because thought requires a binary.

  • @kiwimike1405
    @kiwimike1405 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    When the Absolute is realised, it becomes obvious that the jiva-identity does in Truth, not exist; nor do either what we call duality nor non-duality. What alone exists is the Absoluteness of pure awareness. But how is that known? By the concurrent knowing that I am the experiencer of that Absoluteness. That is Sat - I alone exist. The experiencer is Cit - that which I am. Concurrent with those knowings (in my case at least) was what the Buddha described as “a (soundless) paean of joy” - knowing that there is zero separation ever - that is Ananda, that surpasses all understanding
    The paradox is that, while that much can be retrospectively described, it is impossible to express the experience as it unfolded. There was awareness, certainly - the substratum never is absent, and while the sense of I as a separate Java had gone, there was a definite knowing that I was the one who was experiencer. That begs the question as to whether the I was the Jiva or I was the absolute. Suspect the latter, but the jiva identity reappeared upon the return to waking consciousness 😅
    Why am I writing this? To reinforce what Jason points to in all of his Avadhuta and Ashtavakra videos. The journey might start with the Vedas, might deepen with the Upanishads and might finally end when you explore past where they leave off. And also to emphasise that the only guru you’ll ever need is the One within. May your journeys be blessed. Good luck 🙏

    I think I understand. I’m Norse pagan so forgive me if I get this wrong.
    Both dualism and non dualism explain the illusory state of maya and neither are wrong and neither is correct. They both just are. From our point of view as things in maya, both kinds of thinking can connect us to Brahman if we let ourselves be and exist without letting our view of the world become a fetter.

    The Masters say - _"Those who know don't speak, those who speak don't know."_
    Meaning, those who have 'realized & seen' by their direct experience of the ultimate underlying "true nature" of all things;
    Don't or can't speak or teach about it thru' speech or words because in doing so - shall miss it totally.
    The ultimate "true nature" is the "Oneness" that interconnects all things & beyond all things.

    Looks like avadutha, follows advaita. Cause, only brahman exist is advaitic concept. The problem with this concept is, it makes things like karma and reincarnation futile.
    And advaita, has many other flaws, like if its just play of brahman, then it means brahman is cruel. And of course, in advaita you can't explain maya.
    A better philosophy is tamil, saivam sitthandam. It, basically, it says all the three advaita, dwaita and vishistaadvaita is wrong.
    In saivam, its called god is everywhere, at same time different from soul. So, its advaita and dwaita at same time.
    Basically, it says god, souls and ignorance are eternal. So god, didnt create suffering or souls. But, to enlightenment the souls, god created maya and karma. And the goal is to reach god.
    This saivam, is a complete philosophy with practical experiences.
    In fact, saivam is much older than advaita(500ce) and the other two schools of Vedanta.
    If you're interested let me know, I'll teach

Further: “The Final Theory: Rethinking Our Scientific Legacy “, Mark McCutcheon for proper physics including the CAUSE of gravity, electricity, magnetism, light and well.... everything.
