Nice going Russ and Kevin. I have been moving out seasoned wood the last 2 months from log form. I am so ready to get back to my nothing scheduled routine in stocking up for next winter 😉👍
Good video. Lookout when the day comes when you finally get a processor. Between the 2 stroke logging and processor there won't be any trees around. Lol
@WilleysFirewood definitely worth getting a processor for sure. It'll save on time. I just started my timberjack 350 today so I'll be 2 stroke logging very soon. Lol!
Russ, great video. It looks cold but you can dress & work harder to stay warm. Build yourself a nice warming spot while your out working. Can’t wait to see your new piece of equipment when you get it home. TY for sharing. Stay safe. Dave from Maine.
After the ash glut of logs is done, what species of hardwood logs do you plan on buying and how do you plan on drying it for future orders/roadside stand? This is one of the questions I'm facing, as😊 the glut of ash firewood logs is coming to an end here.
@@thefirewooddoctor as the dry wood goes away I'll need to season wood like others so but I'm going to try and build a kiln before I get to that point. Kiln dried has so many advantages over traditional seasoned firewood.
