Hey Brad. Merry Christmas to you and yours! I think Oregon sets their rakers on a conservative hardwood height from the factory. On a new chain I take one good stroke on the rakers before I use it. If you do that with the LPX I think you will see a big difference.

Merry Christmas to you and your family! Yes Canada is a beautiful country. From 1980-1990 I was stationed at Pease AFB in New Hampshire. Wife and I went to Canada on 3 day weekends. Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto were my favorite cities to visit.

Personally my experience with Canadians is they are good people and as friendly and gracious as where I grew up in rural Pennsylvania. Merry Christmas brad. Ive been to canada twice, first to niagra falls, and last year my buddy and I rode up around lake superior. Great trip. Next summer were goin to angle inlet, mn, then up around lake of the woods. Cant wait.

If you want the lpx to bite a little better just take a swipe off each raker before you start cutting. Try out the dukes chain, it's a great cutting chain once you touch the rakers
