I’m an all or nothing kind of gal with my fall displays so I’m thinking you should use a combination of all of the pretty things you already have and toss in a few mums here and there. And as many pumpkins as your sweet little heart desires 😊💕 Your planters look beautiful!!! I love the combinations that you used!
When you said as many pumpkins as my heart desires I just thought I want to bring her pumpkin shopping immediately! 😆 Thank you for being so encouraging!! Also okay yes I love the mum idea, we may just need to get some to add them in so we can have even more flower power. 💗💗
A little suggestion. Instead of painting have you ever considered using a runner on the porch instead of a small door mat. I started uses them and I change them out with the season. I color coordinated with the season and flowers in my planters, I love the look. Your exes ring planters were very pretty.
@@InTheGardenWithClaudia Amazon is inexpensive/quick delivery and you get a great selection of colors and sizes. I’m actually doing the four seasons now. Just roll them up and put them in the garage or a closet. I also don’t skimp on the size, I try to cover as much of my porch as I can. Really looks great. Enjoy, madelyn
Very pretty containers 🌾 Love the plants you chose. I think stacked pumpkins in 2 of the containers would be nice! I would have another one just filled with all different kinds of gourds and pumpkins 🎃
I live in PDX and used 3 heuchera in my haystack planter last fall. Left them in during the winter with cut evergreens and they lasted even through that freeze blast we had and they were GORGEOUS come spring with huge spikes of flowers. Then planted them in the yard. Your planters look fabulous and I'm going to copy you with the anemone. This is my second year doing container gardens and picked up a lot of tips from Kate. My vote - - - heucheras, bright red orange or the caramel colors.
Ooohhh okay I love this idea! Heucheras are a life saver in containers for me, I can use them every season and they always look good. And oh gosh yes Kate is the container queen! She has some great tips and ideas. I love seeing her creations! 💗🥰
Love the containers! I vote for heucheras in the containers anything but the dark ones which will brighten up the porch area and at least 3 pumpkin stacks of varied colors with mossand leaves in between each pumpkin placed at varying heights with some other pumpkins scattered around. Use the stump it’s great and maybe another stump or piece of driftwood or a large twisty branch, etc. can’t wait to see what you come up with. Maybe some warty gourds?
Yes to all of this!!!! I am picking up pumpkins this week. I love the idea of using the stump too to add more vertical interest. I LOVE all of your ideas!! 😍💗
Gorgeous and like the previous gal said, the planters are so pretty themselves. I love that you packed the plants in as I like to do that too. I vote for Heuchera in the smaller pots and pumpkins on the porch but whatever you come up with will be festive!
Aww thanks Kris!! I do love using Heucheras this time of year. I was going to try and sneak a baby one in the container but it was packed to the rim. 😆 I’m going to play around and see what we come up with and do a follow up with the pumpkins. 🤗
They are so good! That green pumpkin is beautiful. I'd use more pumpkins, but definitely include some heuchera; I just love them. BTW, you inspired me to put in a magnolia this fall. I absolutely love it! Thank you ❤
Yay!! Debra I’m so excited for your new magnolia! Have you selected a variety yet? Also I think you’re right, the heucheras would be a beautiful addition. And more pumpkins to come. 🤩
When I first saw your garden. So tidy. I thought this girl doesn't dig in. But wow I was impressed on how hard u all work. Fun to watch all the changes.
I love ALL your choices 🤩 your plum love 💜, the containers are gorgeous!! and I like the pumpkin idea. Maybe do the 2 pots next to the large containers with pumpkins, and place the other pot on the stump with a dark purple heuchera and display your pumpkins around it on the floor? Have fun with your friends 🎉
Aww thanks Denise!! I love that idea. I definitely have the pumpkins in mind that I want to pick up and want to scatter them around. I love your thought on having the container with a heucheras on the stump, that will also add vertical interest in that corner. 🥰 PS I had the best time with my friends, my cheeks still hurt from all the laughs. 💗
Mums the word on your pansies Claudia 😉 Your planters are looking gorgeous. I’m a sucker for jewel tones. You did a fantastic job. Personally I would love to see a pumpkin stack on the wooden stump for some height in that corner and some more in and around cascades of pumpkins on the ground. Maybe mums in the small doorway containers to continue the burst of colour and fullness in that area and a heuchera in the small planter by the stump and maybe some on the ground also in and around the pumpkins. I think the texture of the heuchera will play wonderfully against the pumpkins but I’m sure whatever direction you choose to take it will look fabulous 😀❤️
Okay Heather coming in with a beautiful vision, I love this! I do think the nuns and the heucheras would bring more flower power and foliage texture which will balance out the pumpkins. I’m even think of using a vintage ladder in the corner and deck it out in pumpkins too. Oohhh I can’t wait, you have me some amazing ideas!! 🤗💗
@@InTheGardenWithClaudia Ohh I love that idea… Another thought…for some height if you still have them spare that is… would be to use one of your acer’s in the corner with some twinkly lights in and an old blanket draped over the pot (like a tree skirt idea to disguise / hide the nursery pot) with pumpkins sat on the pot and pumpkin towers etc sat on the blanket drape and ground and the heuchera in the pot. Whatever you decide to create though I’m sure it’ll look stunning. Whereas I’m sitting in England with my decimated begonias from last weeks hail storm still just cut back within my summer planters. I made a quick trip to the garden centre today and got tonnes of inspiration but we are having another hot and humid few days this week and another storm due tomorrow and the weekend so I’m holding out on autumn (fall) planters until at least next week at which point I might follow your lead and include some edibles also 😊
Wow Claudia! Just a beautiful fall planter. ❤ Can’t believe you were able to fit so many plants into that container…you go girl!! 👏🏼 I need to rethink how I plant up my fall containers…LOL 😆. Just for reference, what diameter pot was that?
Aww thanks friend!! I really did jam pack them in there. 😆 That's the great thing about fall containers, they don't put on a lot of size so you can really jam them in. The containers are 24 inches across! 💞
Good morning Claudia and Sergey. Which Achillea is that? It is beautiful! Huchera and Mums in pots with variety of Pumpkins 🎃. Your planters look beautiful 😍 Thank you for sharing. Enjoy going out with your friends. 😊
Thank you Jennifer! 🤗 i had the best time with my friends, so many good laughs. I goofed and didn’t read the variety, it’s Achillea Millefolium ‘New Vintage Violet’. It’s compact and long lasting which I love. 🥰
Yes! So if you watch any of my previous porch decorating videos I had to rocking chairs in the front, and I sort of miss that look. We moved them to the back deck, but definitely could bring them back up front. 🥰
I love the new plantings. The moss really adds to the look. I’m going to steal that idea. Small suggestion try to be more conscious of how much you talk with your hands right in front of the camera since you’re new to videoing yourself. But really love your content.
Aww thanks friend. Yes please take the idea, I think the moss is the finish touch to fall and winter containers. Also yes, the hands! lol I’m just a super expressive and passionate person, I can get carried away. 😆
I really want to watch your videos but perhaps a gimbal would make them more steady when you are holding the camera. A bit hard to watch because it’s jerky. I noticed on the first video of yours I watched where you were doing the fall planter ideas and walking around the garden center.
Aww okay, thank you for the feedback back. I will try and be slower with it the camera. I think I just get overly excited and forget I’m holding a camera. This is great though, I’m always trying to improve. 🤗💗

Colorful runner would be beautiful, good idea

Wow this is an excellent idea!! I never once thought about a runner here, but it makes perfect sense. Is there a place you like to order from? 🥰
