You look beautiful! Thank you for sharing your intimate reasons for getting implants. You seem so much happier with the decision you have made. I am going to my 3d consultation on Wednesday for all on four. I have never heard of that facility you visited. They did a fantastic job on you. Can you please share how much the entire procedure cost was I will also enjoy learning more about the company that did your all 4 implants! Again you look great and your son is a really handsome happy little boy!

Hi Laura, That was a very comprehensive overview of the post healing instructions for the All on 4 Surgery. I learned a lot. I didn’t know you would have to wear a night guard. Will that be the entire time you are in the temporaries? You look like your doing great and the teeth really suit you ❤ Thank you for putting this video together for us 👍Hoping you don’t get the sharp bone spur thingy’s 🤞

Hi there! I'm so glad you enjoyed my video and learned something from it. I definitely learned some things too along the way, that's for sure 🙂
Thank you, I am doing pretty good these days honestly. And thank you for the compliment. That means a lot❤️ As far as the night guard goes, I was told that I would more than likely have to wear it for as long as I have my all on 4 teeth. It keeps the teeth safe from any grinding at night and hurting and cracking them (at least the temporaries). But I am honestly okay with it, as it is extremely comfortable and I barely even notice when I'm wearing it.
You're very welcome, and again, I'm so glad you liked my video. There will definitely be more very soon😊

Thanks for posting this! Im about 3 weeks away from my all on 6 surgery and was curious. How did you do with the pain after anesthesia wore off? Did you need the narcotic pain medicine at all for the first few days or was ibuprofen enough? I’m on a medicine called buprenorphine which if for getting off of opioids at the moment and dentists don’t usually care to prescribe patients on this medicine Vicodin. So I was curious if you found yourself being able to go without them pain wise or if they were a necessity? If so I am going to insist they prescribe me Vicodin in case it is needed. Thanks!

Hi there🙂 Sorry for the late response. First of all, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. That's awesome! And to be completely honest, I did need to take ibuprofin and percocet (which was what I was prescribed) every 6 hours for about a week after surgery. While the pain was never excruciating, about an hour before each dose I was supposed to take, the pain got worse and I knew that ibuprofin wouldn't be enough. So, in my case, both were needed for a few days every 6 hours. I honestly would recommend you do insist on being prescribed vicodin along with your ibuprofin. You never want to get to a point where the pain becomes too much. But I will say that about day 5/6 the pain was slowly getting less and less noticeable.
Anyway, I hope that helps and I hope that you are able to get the proper meds that you need. This is a pretty major surgery, so hopefully they will fully understand that too.
Thank you for your question, and please feel free to ask me anything else you may think of!

@@CourageousDreamerAllon4journey thanks for the reply! Yes I will make sure they prescribe it and have it in case. I’ve seen numerous people talk about doing it with only ibuprofen and numerous people talk about needing the meds. Won’t 100% know until my anesthesia wears off honestly. The first place I went to ASPEN Dental actually was going to have me do the procedure without even gas forget anesthesia can you believe that? I couldn’t even imagine sitting there with just numbing shots in the gums and watch them perform this! Frightening thought! Thank got I got second opinion 🫢 wish me luck and have a happy thanksgiving 🦃
