500$ = 2 toty's... 1 pulled and one guarenteed... Those are some garbage packs... they need to fix this shit next year. Especially removing a players base card from the pull pool when they have a special card out..

They need to change the price of points for what they're offering. Instead of 20 dollars for 2200 points, it should like 2 dollars. For what they're giving you in these packs it's thievery.

EA is a damn joke this year. They completely drove me away. Been playing HUT since NHL 12. It's a shame, it seems like quite a few of the content creators feel the same way

This is why I quit playing HUT which I absolutely love. It's a complete fucking ripoff cash grab that's it that's all it is. The pack odds are bullshit whatever they say they are is also bullshit. Having to pay that much money for that is horrible now of course someone else will spend that much and pull like 6 TOTY cards and a ton of collectibles but the majority will pull what he just did or worse

@@xentricityy8832 well yeah...obviously. their main eggs in their microtransaction basket are the sports games along with their projects like anthem and star wars battlefront 2. They won't shut down early Vancouver, Toronto, or their western-european studios because those studios make the sports titles that make them the most money.
Then look at the reception of their recent games. Star wars battlefront 2, anthem, Mass effect Andromeda and battlefield 5 were/are all poorly received because of how they handled lootboxes, the state of the game, and content respectively. Their mobile outings have also become the laughing stock of E3 as of lately.
The closing of studios in foreign markets is still a meaningful decision, especially when you consider the population of the cities in the countries where EA closed studios. The only real success they have had recently is Apex legends, which was not influenced by EA heavily. Even FIFA is starting to be slowed down by lootboxes legislation in Europe.
Sorry if this is long but there are quite a few failures of EA to point out compared to their successes.
Anders Alstrup I personally LOVED Andromeda. Anthem is good game that just needs work. Loot and shooters always need to time to improve. Destiny and Division for example.
I hate some of their mechanics with packs in HUT and the such, but micro transactions are not hurting anyone. In other games most of them are cosmetics. Obviously HUT is different and you cannot criticize them for it. It’s part of the pay to play sports gaming world.
Titanfall 1 and 2. Most Battlefields, all of the ME games, etc. All good games and some of them incredible. TF is the BEST shooter created in recent memory. And look at Apex Legends and what they’ve done by publishing that and allowing RE to create a game FREELY.
People hate EA because it’s a fad. And it’s ‘cool’. No company is perfect. Not even governments are perfect.
EA gets so much hate despite them improving a lot in recent years. Battlefront (while I never played - I don’t care for SW) lots of people actually enjoyed the core gameplay of it.
Andromeda is the one game that suffered from community backlash for bugs which all got ironed out. The story and journey was really solid. And Apex? Who would’ve thought ANY BR game would’ve been able to compete with Fortnite, and EA helped by publishing it and again, allowing the creative freedom to RE.
They’re not some evil organization out to ruin people’s gaming lives. C’mon - clearly we’re not going to agree, but I’m also an open minded person who realizes there are faults in the world. I mean, you thought the reason MEA had a tough launch/reception was because of loot boxes. Which wasn’t the case. I mean no disrespect, however I believe the hate EA gets is blown out of proportion... Anyways, have a good one.
