- Subhash Ghai born in 24 January 1945, is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter, known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema. His most notable works include Kalicharan (1976), Karz (1980), Hero (1983), Meri Jung (1985), Karma (1986), Ram Lakhan (1989), Saudagar (1991), Khalnayak (1993), Pardes (1997), Taal (1999), and Black & White (2008). In 1982, he started Mukta Arts Private Limited which, in 2000, became a public company, with Subhash Ghai as its executive chairman. In 2006, he received the National Film Award, for producing the social problem film Iqbal, in the same year he founded the Whistling Woods International film and media institution in Mumbai.

The parenting advice by Subhash Ghai at the end is exactly what US parents follow. Been in US for 5 years and have closely followed the parents and kids there, their lifestyle, their thinking. Till 18 age parents support the kid, after that the kids are left on their own to survive.

मैंने बचपन मे इन की एक मूवी देखी थी जिस में ये हीरो थे , उस फिल्म का नाम " दो बच्चे दस हाथ " था । जिस में जूनियर महमूद भी थे ।
Iam expressing my ignorance that Subhas Ghai directed many movies apart from the great movie of 1980 released ""KARZ ""which was full of Magnificently greatly super duper songs by respected Kishore KUMAR sir. I have seen this movie when it was released in KOLKATA at Basushree cinema hall. Then I was 15/16 years old. During this time I have seen this movie ""KARZ ""three times as this movie ran for more than six months. All the songs are even today super duper hit. The young generation are familiarised with these songs especially ""Ek Hashina thi ""and ""OM Shanti OM "".The story of the movie reflected the ethos and gist of Geeta. Birth and Rebirth in the movie ""KARZ "".Really an obsessive and enchanting movie. KARZ is Evergreen and time defeating movie. Thanks Subhas Ghai for making and giving such Magnificent movie. In 1980 à ticket was price of 75 paise and 1.75 one rupees and seventy five paise and 2.50 and 4.50 and 6.50 only. The ticket of 75 paise was only for men and it has to collect standing in long and long queue and had to make some qurrels and tiny fights to get tickets but other priced tickets were eligible for collecting in avance for two days or three days. The housrful board always hanging for two three months constantly on The front gate. We had two advance tickets for me and my elder sister. We got tickets of 2.50 which was total only 5 five rupees for two people. 25/6/22/.

I congratulate Irfan Saheb for conducting such wonderful show..In this particular ruburu with Subash Ghai lots of interesting and pertinent questions were raised and Subash jee explained explicitly about his life's journey ..his thought process and the most important thing he told about reading of books. I endorse his view and I know the more one reads books on various topics whether fiction or non fiction a person definitely will develop a strong imagination power. Unfortunately today reading of books have taken a back stage but i hope very soon it will again become a rage among the next gen.
