AI core tech is cool (looking at my X-Cell), but I'll just drill more Hy-Roads and pick up a Hy-Road Solid and Hy-Road Pearl. My bag already looks like it went back to 2008 at this point with the Virtual Energy Blackout, my 2024 Hy-Road, and my X-Cell in the mix. 👀👀🤣
I just purchased the Primal Rage Evolution and used it today for the first time. One thing that puzzles me about bowling ball specs is that the DIFF & RG listed by the manufacturer are based on certain conditions/drillings... right? So, depending on how you throw the ball and how you drill it, the specs are going to change. I play two-handed and drilled my Primal Rage Evolution to go extra-long (I don't know the drilling specs but my pro shop guy worked it out for me) with some hook at the end. I use a three-step approach and hook the lane. Because this ball is drilled to go long without a lot of back-end motion, I have to throw it slower (a little slower than my usual slow) and move my target closer in (several feet past the foul line) to give the ball time to hook. It was going pretty good but then I had an idea... what about a four-step approach, get more speed and play more the middle of the lane? It worked great. I moved back on the approach (about the middle of the ball return) and was throwing the ball up 17-ish +/- and it would go long and I had a lot of nice pocket shots (also, left the 10 pin a few times). I was scoring low 200s which to my way of thinking, is something I can build on (again, I've been playing a three-step approach and hook the lane so I've got to practice this some more). Anyhow, getting back to where I started, how all these bowling balls work really depends on variables unique to each user making the ball specs a bit confusing to me. By the way Luis, good job with the switch to two-handed.
Quick question we start a new house shot every 8 weeks in our league. 1st qtr was 42ft with 23.8mls of oil this qtr is 41ft and 19.3mls of oil. You said the P.R.E would be better on transition with the amount less oil on the pattern would the P.R.E be in play on the fresh?
Luis, for Vlogman. Can you make a video talking about all of the different coverstocks and what they do? For example, HK22, Propulsion FYJ, TX-16, R2S, ect. It's something that I haven't seen anyone make a video on and I think it would be a very informative video.
Maybe I’m missing it but it seems that in this video the primal wasn’t as strong yet you were further left with it. Seems like it didn’t store enough energy to really get to the pocket flush. This is the same exact reaction I had with the two balls today. The road warrior reacted much more angular and I played it further left, whereas I played the primal about 2-3 board right more.
I'd like to to see the new Hammer Effect Tour vs the Storm Ion Pro. That new Physix looks good! Not sure what ball would be a good comparison to compare too though as its a sanded pearl. I know the Big Time was a sanded pearl but that was Symm. Rage vs the Anger vs idol pearl and or vs no doubt would be cool.
I’d love to see it compared to the Infinite Physix. Same core, minus the AI, and also a strong sanded pearl. It should give a good look at the coverstock differences.
I like your channel and ball reviews but you switching to two hands does help me throwing one handed. The layout and drilling and speed and rev’s are going to be different. So I must move on. Gl moving forward!
I think the big thing to remember here is that even me one handed is still different that how you throw there ball. No matter how similar you THINK it is it's still very different. You should really be looking at where the ball is hooking and what is happening when I miss in and out. Nothing to do with one handed or two handed. Ball motion is still ball motion. FURTHERMORE my ball roll is 10 times better two handed so it should be way easier to see the ball motion LOL
@@LuisNapolesyou gotta do what you gotta do. Personally i think a lot of people just don’t like 2 handers. I don’t know the OT, and for them, they gotta do what they gotta do. Personally i love your channel. And i love you as a free agent, i am brand agnostic, show me storm, show me motiv, show me columbia 300, idc if the ball is good its good. If its bad its bad. Show it to me.
Nice video, like you shared these balls aren't for the same conditions. Showing them on fresh lanes doesn't really fit their purpose either as you shared.
Excellent comparison...thanks for this!
Any time! Just trying my best here!
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Luis napoles
Thanks!
@@LuisNapoles your welcome
Road Warrior 👍
SAME!!
Can you compare purple hammer to the storm IQ 78

Road Warrior over the hyroad pearls of today

The stats are for undrilled state. The numbers change when you put holes in it, and depends on how much of the weight block is removed.
@@BDubbleGum -- Thx.
All specs of bowling balls regardless of the brand are UNDRILLED numbers. The moment you drill holes into the ball those numbers will change
@@LuisNapoles -- Thanks

I try and stay away from shiny gym balls on the fresh. They tend to be to quick down lane. Look for weaker sum solids like Venom Shock or !Q Tour
Interesting - I noticed that your footwork two-handed is very similar to your 1-handed game. I don’t see the normal hop-step in your approach.
Also cross brand comparison: Primal vs No Doubt

The problem with that is it's all speculation since we really dont know how strong or weak the covers are.
I definitely prefer the Primal Rage Evolution one handed over two handed and I prefer the Road Warrior two handed.
Thanks!
Wish Motiv could release a ball as angular as the Road Warrior. Hope they get there in 2025
I threw the Primal last week….that thing was SUPER angular if thrown to the friction. More than anything I’ve thrown in a long time

Yea unfortunately I can only bowl on what the lanes have in front of me ya know

I must unsubscribe. I respect your decision but I liked your videos one handed, good luck!
