I was able to run the oneup 210 dropper on my lg Maniak. Fully slammed. Fully mental!

You should have gone with Thomson's 7050 aluminum riser bars, their 7000 series aluminum X4 stem, and 7000 series aluminum Masterpiece post. Or even better, their 3/2.5 Titanium risers and seatpost😁🤘🤘

Nice. Stan's rim are bomb proof. Haven't had any issues with them and what comes to rear hub. LOAD HUBS SAVES LIVES! Now send that into some serious chunky stuff, because that fork needs to be ridden hard! 🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪

Some top of the line wheel sets can be pricey, also the Earth 🌎 spins on it's axis too, I did a Rooster 🐓 sound the other day, previous day 7 cans of Mackerel, felt like I laid 🥚 🐣.

Very very very nice build. What size is the frame? I am also thinking of getting one but the stand over seems very high 800mm on MED but when I see your build it doesn't look like that.

Great bike! Being an SLX brakes fan with multiple bikes, do you do the bite point adjustment screw mod?
I do not have this mod and will actually have to take a look into it because I do not believe I know what it is! HAHAHAHA Appreciate the comment!
@@chickensendies its basically just installing a grub screw, or other M4 screw to give the brakes the same ability as the XT version. Not a huge mod, but it allows a little more lever adjustment. I tried it the other week.

I'd be curious what your measured head tube angle is. My 140mm forked Maniak was significantly slacker than expected. 62 degrees, if I recall. I'm putting a +2 headset in it and also shortening the travel of my Helm to 130mm. I like slack bikes, but this was much more than I expected!
If I did my math correct it should be around 63 just the way it sits now.
@@chickensendies Sadly, what I found was the frame is simply 1.5-2 degrees slacker than stated on the website. With a 140 fork mine should've been right around 64 degrees. In reality it was 62 degrees! I experimented with a +1 headset and now will be installing a +2. I saw Steve at HP looks to be doing the same per an IG post of his. I hate to think about it, but I think these frames are way slacker than they're supposed to be. :( Kind of a bummer considering the cost. I still love the bike, but some aspects of it left me a bit disappointed. I'd be curious if you get chance to measure the actual HTA. If you do, please chime in with the results! :) Keep up the great work. Really enjoy the channel!

I definitely ran into a few issues but that fancy magnet set up I bought helped a TON!!!
I can promise you that it's every bit the nightmare you think! Worth it since this bike rocks. But yikes.
