I liked the characters and the dialogue was well written but I felt like I wanted more to happen. I know that's what Dr K is saying but it seemed to me that it needed more substance - a bit more plot. Definitely not a misfire but Iwas let down by the ending
Hmmmm. This was a very confusing movie and it really wasn’t scary, at all. The subject matter was interesting however it seemed to suggest that oppression will always exist and you should give up. Jordan Peele’s movies eclipsed this. Hey, just my opinion.
Just watched this, and I highly recommend it. If you want outright horror/suspense, this won’t be your cup of tea. If you want to watch closely and think along with the movie, I think you’ll find it a provocative and rewarding film.
In this day and age, for some reason, people want to be oppressed. It's like there's a race to see who's the most oppressed. Some people almost revel in it, wether it's there or not. And I find it weird, that the ones who do this oppression Olympics, are usually rich, with amazing jobs.

A creepy enough film, just thought it never took off. Strange ending. Suspiria did everything that this one didnt.

This movie seemed too subtle and ambiguous for a lot of TH-cam Reviewers. Glad you got what it was trying to do and enjoyed it.
Agree, some people want horror and bloodshed. The horror in this film is totally real, and as they say in the film, “it’s everywhere”
Then perhaps the film simply didn’t convey it’s themes effectively? Just a possibility.
Great premise and intrigue which is built up, and then the ending just happens.........
