BEYOND AMAZING PENTHOUSE TOUR - Fairmont San Francisco

- With 6,000 square feet of stylish luxury, the amazing Penthouse at the Fairmont San Francisco (www.fairmont.com/san-francisco/) is essentially a mansion that sits on top of the luxury hotel. Built in the 1920 as a private residence for a very wealthy guy, the three-bedroom suite has seen everyone from JFK to Mick Jagger as a guest.
I visited the suite a few years ago and just had a chance to return for an even more detailed tour. From the Moroccan-tiled billiard room to the terrace with postcard views over the Financial District, it's just an amazing space. The luxury hotel suite has a huge living room, a two-story library with a domed planetarium ceiling (and a secret exit), a formal dining room, a commercial kitchen and three bedrooms, each with their own luxurious bathroom.
The Fairmont San Francisco opened in 1907 and sits atop Nob Hill, offering it amazing views of the entire city and the bay beyond, including Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Hi, Fred! Nice to see this more thorough revisit to the swanky and gorgeous Penthouse suite! You seem to spend more time in San Francisco than I do and I live 15 miles away. Interesting about the UN Charter--didn't know that! Good work on filming, Latrice! I was expecting a piano concert at the end of the video, but Latrice was probably tired from chasing you around that 6.000 sq ft Penthouse :-) Thanks for the tour!

@@FreddySherman Wound up staying in the Fairmont Suite last Friday. It had some awesome views. Looking at the Penthouse Terrace where the haircut was filmed through the master bedroom windows was nostalgic.

I wonder how many cigarettes have been smoked in that hotel during the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s.. I am amazed they can get rid of the smell.
Now that you mention it, wow you're 100 percent right. I must say, even as a non-smoker, I did not notice an old smokey smell.
