I used to feel agnostic about the concept of multiple lives because I couldn't logically prove it. When I suddenly accepted multiple lives as a truth (through Swamiji's grace) it became clear what a hindrance the idea of "one life to live" is. That cognition was like a subtle snake I didn't know was there. It was a false belief supporting identification with this one body only, or this color only, this sex only, this nationality only, etc. Being introduced to the possibility of past and future lives effectively expanded my view of myself and others (including the animals I used to think it was okay to eat). Thank you Swamiji! Also... It's so much easier to let go of anger when you realize that you may have been as ignorant in another lifetime as anyone you hold animosity toward now. (If we're really ferocious with ourselves, we might even find out we were that big a jerk as recently as last month, lol) ...makes it hard to cast stones or lack compassion :-) "The concepts you intellectually understand and cherish matters while you are in the body." Is very important to know that we have multiple births. If this is never being told, our inner space is not prepared and it won't enter into the doors of possibilities presented in front of us, after leaving the body. We will be frozen like a stone. Thank You Swamiji to telling to the world this great truth denied to the western countries..
