The BBC Video logo had scared many people, especially in their 90's childhoods when they're watching Wallace & Gromit tapes, due to the very depressing tune, the animation and the fact that the entire logo is on a black background. And on the Wallace & Gromit tapes, the scare factor just got even worse when this logo got followed by the Aardman Animations "Clayface" logo. One of the scariest British logos of all time, but is not as bad as the Bravo UK 1997 idents (leave them if you are under the age of 16).

I remember watching a video of fireman Sam, It was late at night and I didn't want to disturb my parents, I wanted to watch the entire thing to see if there were any special features at the end, I got to the end of the credits and when I heard the logo sound, I was straight out of my living room, ran into my parents' room and cried in my dads' arms. The music is so ominous, I hated it, and I still get unnerved by it. It didn't help that I saw it in pitch blackness. Hearing that horrifying sound in total darkness, nothing but the television giving out light terrified me.

@@PostmanDouglas2011 It wasn't late. I wasn't allowed to stay up past 6pm). I wasn't scared at the beginning as I had all my family with me, but at the end, most of them were either in bed or in the kitchen and I wasn't expecting the logo to come at the end.
