Side note ( because obviously everyone is raving RIGHTFULLY about how cool you two are!) it's actually pretty inspiring how this whole channel is Disney themed, but really is about honoring our own inner child, yet being a fully functioning adult 🤣 also as a couple, you two are a pretty shining example of partners providing each other a safe space to explore and celebrate that genuine, playful, childlike part of themselves.

Alan being so thoughtful about how he worded that he did not like the food option bc he was thinking of the person who made it 🥰 he truly is a southern gentleman. I had no idea you could use the text option for reservations that is extremely helpful information!! I would love to see a room stay at Pop Century it’s my go to Disney Resort so very interested to find out any tips or tricks that I have missed out on
Spring rolls are fun. i would use the text option also.
Wish I’d known about restaurant reservations through the text service when we were there last month. But I definitely used that texting service for a lot of other requests. An absolute perk!
Molly is the big sister I always wanted; I love her personality and her advice is always so good! Also, I too set 20 alarms to wake up in the morning, and I’m a Hufflepuff (since Molly is a Slytherin and there is a thing where Slytherins are besties with Hufflepuffs).

Hi Molly and Alan, I said hello to you and thanks while you were filming this video at the entrance of the Royal Pacific. I stayed there with my family for 2 nights. I totally agree with you that the main reason for staying there is the Express Pass. I also did the math before booking and if you are set on getting the express passes, as I was, then when you add the park tickets and express passes for 2 days it comes out as more expensive than the 2 nights in the hotel for a family of 3. So it's as if you are basically getting the hotel for free by staying at the Royal Pacific. Regarding the food options we really wanted to try the Islands Dining Room but it was closed for the times we were there, late lunch before the parks on the first day and late dinner after the parks, glad to know you didn't think it was so good. WE ate at Jake's twice which I found to be good I had a really good buffalo chicken club sandwich. After staying in the Royal Pacific for the express pass perk we moved for one night to the Endless Summer Dockside, which is much cheaper, as the next day we went the Volcano Bay and the express pass doesn't work there.

The express pass alone makes it beyond worth it (even with the annoying parking fees lol)
We actually rented a room for the two days we were at the park in late 2019, DESPITE THE FACT WE WERE STAYING AT A VACATION HOME AND LEFT THE ROOM EMPTY THAT NIGHT…because the room was $559 for one night but THE TWO DAYS OF EXPRESS PASSES FOR FOUR PEOPLE WAS WORTH $1556!!…. Renting a room WE DIDNT NEED made the cost of the Express passes less that $70 a person for each day!

So happy that you guys are doing the Universal Resorts! I just got home from a stay at Royal Pacific but we didn't have time to explore because we were taking advantage of those express passes. We got to our room and literally just went to sleep. The resort was beautiful and pretty quiet, I will be staying there again for sure. Also, I love your honest food and drink reviews, thank you!

Such a fun video. Royal Pacific is my mine and my wife's favorite hotel. And you ranked the dining options correctly - sushi is definitely first, followed by Jake's, followed by the one that participated lol. My wife & I definitely sit across from, not next to, each other when we eat so I'm with you on that lol.

Just stayed here this past tue-thurs and got the room for $235 a night! 🤯 but that was with the Florida resident pricing. I thought the resort was super nice and everyone was so friendly. My husband absolutely loved the water taxis.
We got super lucky and the parks weren’t crowded at all. Early admission got us on and off Hagrid’s motorbike ride by like 8:30 am!
It was sooooo nice to just go back to our room in the afternoon to rest or take a nap and then head back out for the rest of the day. Can’t wait to stay here again.
We’re you able to hear the people in the next room at all???? I just watched a video about Portofino Bay and she said she could hear everything next door 😢was hoping this place is a little better

Our family of 4 stayed here over spring break for our first trip ever to Universal! We had a lovely time. Shout out to the hotel staff. We arrived later than expected with an imminent dinner reservation at The Chocolate Emporium in City Walk. The clerk calmly offered to push our reservation back a little to give us time to check in, get changed and chill. What a delight! And the proximity to the parks plus the Unlimited Express passes - unbeatable!
RP was the first Universal resort that we stayed at & we love it for the atmosphere! Also only had breakfast at Islands… Their french toast is to die for!

Great vid! And great timing for me! My hubs and I are booked here next spring for a triple celebration trip - he’s retiring from teaching after 28 years, it’s his birthday and we’ll be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We thought we’d splurge a bit for the stay this trip and the xpress pass was a great bonus. We’ve a dvc fam and this will be our first visit back to Universal since 2012. So we’re super excited!

This is my favorite Universal resort, you cannot beat the convenience and I love the morning walk to the park for early park admission so peaceful and the express pass makes it all worth it.
I love your hotel reviews! You convinced me to stay at cabana bay in December and it is my favorite resort/hotel I’ve ever stayed at (and I’ve gotten around lol)
Stayed there about 9 years ago and it was fantastic. So nice to get up early, take a short walk and hit all the popular rides before everyone else.
Love it all. The bag and pins are gorgeous!
What a treat to get to see this resort again over twenty years after our first stay there. At that time, we paid slightly more per night than what a Disney moderate would have cost us. The express pass perk was a feature even then. We asked for a room close to the lobby and were surprisingly upgraded to a King Suite, I think for 20 more per night, a super bargain. Our meal was at the on site Emeril's Tchoup Chop(closed in 2017). Although it had so-so reviews in that first year, we had a memorable meal there and a luxurious stay overall. Please include Portofino Bay as a staycation someday. We enjoyed that resort so much, too, and I would love to see what all you two have to discover there.

I'd love a video or series of Molly and Alan highlighting local breweries. Whenever I travel, I love to seek out local brews, and I feel like Molly and Alan would have the best suggestions for which breweries are worth a visit.

My husband and I are "same side sitters" at restaurants so those booths look amazing lol!
This hotel experience was great for us! We were on the concierge floor and we felt safe and loved the location and had an amazing breakfast buffet as well.
We were very pleased with our stay there (there the same time as you! Highlight of our trip to meet you guys! You guys are stunning.) and the breakfast buffet at the Islands Dining room. We had one at the Crystal Palace the following day, and I can easily say the food quality, and price, were MUCH better than Crystal Palace. You're paying for the Pooh!

I would love to see you 2 go on a distillery/brewery tasting! Also, I think the lettuce dish with the minced meat is a take on Larb which is a traditional southeast Asian/Filipino dish but often without the glass noodles underneath

I first heard of the Unlimited Express Pass benefit from Molly when I was watching her older videos from before Mammoth Club. We got to finally stay last January at this beautiful hotel and enjoyed its benefits thanks to the information you shared.

I stayed there last visit. It is a great option if you want the free Express pass but don't want to pay a ton of money. Totally agree about the pool bar. I had fish tacos and loaded nachos there, and it was one of the best things I ate whole trip.
1. Frogs represent good luck (or even fertility or rebirth in some cultures) so I like to think of them as lucky frogs.
2. Molly - just sayin- blue is such a good color on you. That blue shirt had your eyes POPPIN

I am currently at portofino bay :) so cool to see a review of another hotel nearby. We almost chose royal pacific, but we got a deal on portofino bay that ended up being a little bit cheaper. We are happy with our choice, but RP sure looks like fun!

We stayed in the Jurassic World room a few years ago. My kids loved it. Possibly my favorite resort stay
Bromosa is my favorite! Had it for the first time as a rotating tap in South Florida and now have to try and find it anytime we’re in Orlando

My husband and I normally stay at Royal Pacific when we visit but this last time (mid-April) we stayed at Sapphire Falls. We found it a complete labyrinth. Please do a tour of Sapphire Falls if for no other reason than to help people navigate it!

2 years ago we stayed at that hotel in a 2 bedroom family room and it cost each family $475! Well worth the cost to say the least! After that stay we wentto Disney's Vero Beach Resort for 5 days and my daughter has DVC sor that stay was free. That was a 2 bedroom villa and it was gorgeous! I recommend that resort, especial after a hectic stay at the parks.
