I think Kevin would back me up when I say that the point of having an inventory system like ours is that it's customized to your way of thinking. So if you stored a radio antenna with your auto inventory and not with your electronics because you made that association initially, you should find it right away with the same association and not because you're constantly seeing it in your auto section. If you're losing items because you took a vacation and not physically seeing your inventory during that time, you're either doing it wrong or the storage method is not for you. I know where my items are not because I remember where I put them, but because my logic or way of thinking would store them in the same place a year or two later. So, when an item sells, I don't try to remember where I put it, I only have to think where I would store it if it's a new item that I'm just storing away for the first time because it would be the same location last year, yesterday, today or a year from now.
@@onefootflipper I believe they only sort, test, clean and take photos of the items. He finalizes their drafted listings, stores the items and ships some sales.
I hate my pool. I can never get the chemicals right. Either it's green or so cloudy you don't want to go in because you don't know what's in there with you 🤣🤣
Best part of selling mostly clothing is shipping is just sitting and using poly bags. The most annoying thing I’m shipping today is some shoes which I obsess cutting the box down so the shoes don’t knock around and I don’t have to use packing paper.
Granted I have a lot less inventory than you, But not having a warehouse inventory system in place with locations would drive me insane. I really try to just keep it simple. I used Clear bins with lids. labeled the bins alphabetically numerical or w/e. That way my search is just down to that bin. When I list the item I toss it in the bin and put that bin location in the custom sku in the listing.
@@GnuttySkull55 agree. Just what I do. I do not want all these items/locations dancing around in my head. And if I ever need help pulling…how would I explain that.

When I go on vacation I have a statement saved so with every order that comes in I send them a message and paste my I’m on vacation…………statement. I started this with my last vacation in May. I was gone 16 days and had 193 orders and not one buyer asked to cancel, in the past I would have a couple people upset and cancel.

Vendoo is way to expensive it's ridiculous. I have 4,000 Items in my store so Vendoo isn't even an option. I think there setup is better then list perfectly but when you figure out the cost difference there isn't even a question List Perfectly is the better option!!
I don’t buy Spode anymore. Hard sell and not for much. Like everything there might be a piece worth something but I don’t even comp them. Pass them up.
Ummmm, sorry, not sorry, but I'm never gonna feel sorry 4 u 4 how much shipping u have to do, lol! I wish I had those kinds of sales! You're lucky that you have so many orders to ship Mr. Woe Is Me, haha. Maybe invest in some sweatbands, you know, like the basketball players used to wear the head one with the 2 wrist ones? You seem to be really wiping the sweat away a lot, or you just have a nervous tick or something with your hair, idk lol. Anyways, ya, boo hoo, you have orders to ship. Buck up, buddy! ✌️💜✌️💜🙃🙂
Please number or name your bins and add skus to your listings. If something were to happen to you and your wife has to ship for you, how is she supposed to find your things to ship them?

BUT YOU DONT HAVE AD/HD. so his way of thinking is not the same a day, a week, an hour????? Keep that in mind
@@ohthejtt which is why I said that this inventory method may not work for him
I don't understand how Kevin's inventory system could possibly work when he has multiple people involved in the process.
@@onefootflipper I believe they only sort, test, clean and take photos of the items. He finalizes their drafted listings, stores the items and ships some sales.
Why the heck not use sku…make it super simple right. 🤷🏼♀️
Downfall of selling mostly clothes is not grossing close to $1400. Nice sales Dave!
Hey Dave. Love watching the videos!!!Get that pool back to normal so when I come down in September I could take a dip!!! 😂 👌👍👊💪
Cmon! It’s fixed. Not by Dave haha
@@25tinabina 🤣🤣 Great!!!!👌👍👊💪
Deal!
I recommend watching Pro Picker/Pro Flippper. He has an organizational system for a very large inventory that is top-notch.

I have several old routers and switches. I was going to list them but they got buried in toys 🤣🤣
Dave, Please! Buy a ladder!! We all love you and don't want to see you get hurt.
Mike from NY
He has so many. He just needs to use them lol
Hope you are doing well! Miss seeing you!
Dave.. Put in a ceiling fan quiet an moving air is better always enjoying your videos
I like that idea! I always need moving air.
The problem with selling clothes is understanding southern wet warmth.... :D
Haha
Thanks!
Thank you for the support❤
I don't know anything about makeup but if Tina wants to give me some suggestions I would be happy to buy something for the DarkToyWife :)
I believe it's pronounced, 'Sure-wood' not Sharewood. 🙂

There are "ceiling" fans that use cpu and hang anywhere! I love ours in our camper.
I would send the big items next day

He used that system once and still lost items. Took him awhile to find them.
Agree. Custom Sku is the way to go. I think Dave had issues with it because he is not consistent.

Hi Dave, great sales! No link for Tina's store 😢

The downside of a vacation is getting back into the swing of it. The positive of self-employed is the freedom to take vacation when you want too.

Your kids didn’t think the Jurassic park sneakers were Drippy?? Haha😮
Haha
Bummer. No jellybeans
Him and the other guys from the trash to cash podcast has such a great sense of humor lol
I bought some spode stainless flatware for $35 and sold it for $700. So yeah some spode is very good
Oh wow
I have 11 parcels from the weekends
I would not trust eBay or vendoo prices
As some dealers keep the prices low
Hmmm. Thick aluminum wrapped ornaments are worth something? Maybe
I think flowerdy shirts are the best so don’t listen to me.
Oh shit. Done finally talked to Dave……hm Maybe
Since that glass is 1960s (and it could be) and you found it, how about that 1980s filagree? And dang, I’m a clothing + seller
Learned from the best!
