Indiana, the vice-president’s home state will be in Trump’s column. As will Kentucky and its 8 electoral votes
Vermont will go to Joe Biden. And Virginia... also goes to Joe Biden.
South Carolina is “Too Early To Call”. And Georgia is “Too Close To Call”
Rachel Maddow: Let’s run through some senate races. Mitch McConnell is projected to hold on to his seat in Kentucky, whether he remains majority leader remains to be seen. Mark Warner is the projected winner in Virginia. South Carolina is “Too Early To Call”. Georgia has two senate races, the regular election is projected as “Too Close To Call” while NBC is characterizing the special election as “Too Early To Call”. It is most likely that race will head to a runoff but at this moment we don’t know who will it will be in the January runoff.
Williams: Lets go to Steve Kornacki at the board
Kornacki: If you told me 12 years ago that we would call VA this early for a Democratic candidate, I would laugh at you. Look at VA from 2008, 2012, and 2016. Democrats have made gains - especially during the Trump presidency with them sweeping statewide offices in 2017 and completely flipping the legislature in 2019 - in what was a reliably Republican state in between 1964-2008. Northern Virginia as well as Richmond and now it looks like the Hampton Roads area seem to be the Democrats strengths.
And if we’re calling VA this early as well as GA being “Too Close To Call” what does this mean for the president in AZ, FL, and TX? Yes, TX which hasn’t gone for a Democratic nominee since Carter’s win in 1976. We’ve seen signs that Trump could lose TX, the most recent PPP poll showed Biden up 47-45. If that happens, Biden just needs to hold on what to Clinton had 4 years ago and he will be president-elect. Rachel, Brian.

I used this music back then during a certain quiz bee on our online class. I even got to create a mock of the graphics in After Effects to look like what's being used in the actual Election Night 2020 in NBC/MSNBC. They were amazed by it. I felt so good paying tribute to this masterpiece and NBC's phenomenal broadcast graphics and soundtrack that beats the other networks in US.
Do you happen to have the moving stars version after effect? I’m trying to make my own election predictions hopefully for the future for 2024 and need a road map of the actual NBC graphics.

I made up one with my fictional president, Henry Wilde where he beats Cruz in 2028 during his re-election bid and I made up the following commentary, “ 468 votes go to President Wilde and Vice President Flores and 70 go to Senator Cruz and his running mate Senator Hawley. Cruz’s support for Trump during Trump’s false claims of voter fraud, downplaying Covid-19, and failure to help during the Texas winter storm were just too much for the American people as Cruz won the traditional Republican states of Indiana, Alaska, Kentucky, the 2 state votes of Nebraska and West Virginia and was only able to flip his home state of Texas and 1 congressional district in Nebraska.”

Um what happened to the original election theme music? It switched
NBC universal took down all my MSNBC election night compilation vids and game me 2 copyright strikes. I have replaced the music in order to avoid a potential 3rd strike. I plan to switch back the music once the 2 strikes expire.

Eh i think the general elections would be way to much for me as well as my friends who input the election results. Plus i plan to watch MSNBC's coverage. I do plan on covering the 2019 elections, the LA runnoffs if there are any, and i will cover the 2019 election day elections in Kentucky and Mississippi. Also there will probably be many special elections during 2019 so expect for me to cover those.

Election night 2024: We have a major call to make, Vice-President Harris will carry the great state of Texas and all 41 of it's electoral college votes. This is the the first time that a Democrat has carried Texas since Jimmy Carter in 1976. While we haven't officially called the race for Harris and the Democrats, it's hard to imagine a path to victory for the Republicans without Texas and with California and New York already in the Democratic camp.

We project Jaime Harrison will unseat Lindsey Graham in the South Carolina Senate Race!!! This open a whole lotta path that means there was a large turn out for Harrison, by Democrats and that probably also voted Democrat which means there a possibility South Carolina goes blue electorally for the president no guarantees, but that why South Carolina is too close call.

Sorry that didn’t happen. That senate seat hasn’t been won by a Democrat since 1960, and at the beginning it was expected Lindsey would win it. Jaime did lose sadly despite all the money he put in, but Lindsey Graham did win by his lowest margin since he first ran in 2002.
