Excellent video. I bought the Innovation deck a few days again and getting acquainted working with it. As I am a one man show, you do not always have the luxury to craft things in a team, as you do not have them. I have validated my idea with my workshop participants and got good feedback. Will this qualify for a start? As you make a living of the work I do you sometimes have the rosy glasses on a paint things better than they actually my look like. How to come around this?
Thanks! And I recognise your situation as I've put things out there both with teams and as a one-man show. Even knowing all the ideas in the deck, I've still sometimes fallen into the trap of fooling myself. One time was also when I was doing a teaching workshop. I believed in the material and got great feedback and glowing reviews from students who took the course. But something wasn't right. Each time I ran the course, I did MORE marketing and got FEWER students. I secretly knew something was "off" 3 or 4 times before I admitted it to myself, but I just didn't want to accept it! When I've avoided this trap, it's usually when I've set myself some Pivot Triggers - actually written them down and forced myself to pause and make sense of the signals. Good luck!
Make a card asking the question : " what type of voice tone is best for a tutorial?" I'm sorry I can't listen to 27minutes of that VO I Appreciate the content on the channel and I own the cards.
