    It's all about creating a micro-climate around your body. And the less thickness and weight you can accomplish that in.... the better. Thanks Jerry!

    Fishnets are the way to go when the temps drop. I use mine with a light weight merino or poly long sleeve over top and will go all day without having to change out to a dry layer as the netting keeps the moisture off the skin. Thanks for the video.

      Cdn Outpost absolutely agree...I’ve had my fishnets for many years. Here in the Midwest we just had -38 degrees for example. In any and all conditions I’ve used them they keep me dry, including alpine skiing...

    Purchased the fishnet top base layer / tested it today Hiking 12 miles in the Northeast ( fishnet top base layer + light mid layer and top layer ) worked great , mid layer was soaked while my skin was dry .
    Very satisfied, will recommend .

      very happy to hear that the fishnets worked well for you. years ago I had the same experience with the mid layer being soaked but dry skin. thank you, Wiggy

    This is the first time u have heard about you sleep systems n other products that you make. Today I am overjoyed to listen n learn from ur unstopable management of knowledge you have inside of you and ur unselfish need to share your truthful wisdom with those who except it with open arms. Its a long text someone needs to show you appreciation for all that you are offering us without expecting more than what we can give back. I plan on giving u whatever I can cause what I have received from listen to you is wisdom that no one is offering. Let me be able to see what is is you may need n maybe I can offer it or connect u with someone that can get it for you. May you continue to be blessed to be a blessing 🙏

    I am in the process of ordering a fisnet set to see how it works with my light fleece and softshell setup.
    When you mention not using coated garments are you referring to gortex type membranes only or is DWR coatings also bad. I was under the impression that DWR helped with breath-ability by not letting the garment "wet out", should I stop reapplying DWR to my softshell jackets.

    so why do all other major outdoor companies refuse to produce something like this ?

    • @wiggys
      @wiggys  8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      +Tim James today all of the companies that sell underwear or what they call base layer garments get them made in asia. they also have no knowledge of why fishnets are the best base layer you can wear. call me if you need more info or just read the information on the web site.

    question about this: I like to wear wool sweaters but in typical fashion they itch a lot, forcing me to wear another layer under them. if I were to use this as my only base layer, would it be enough of a buffer to keep the wool off my skin and prevent irritation? or would the porous nature of it require another thin layer?

      Dravous Wild I haven’t tried it but I do have the fishnets many years now...best thing in the world as first layer.

    Did he wear his underwear over or under the fishnet?

      The fishnet is always the base layer. Everything else goes over it.
