I used to watch planes taking off and landing at the Zhongpu abandoned factory behind Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. I saw a Thai Airways Boeing 777-2D7ER or 777-3D7 passenger Jet preparing take off to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport. I also heard this bizzsaw roar.
To answer that question, currently 24 of BA's 777-236ERs (first batch) have GE90-85B and GE90-94B engines on them, ranging from G-VIIA to G-VIIY (including G-RAES), while the rest of BA's 777-236ERs (19 of them, second batch) have RR Trent 895-17 engines, ranging from G-YMMA to G-YMMU (excluding G-YMMM due to what happened in 2008).
That's because they've used this video for the sounds of the B772 with RR engines in that game. Like at 0:53 for the front sounds, and at 1:01 for the back sounds.
Stunning takeoff, and that sound..... wow. Your 777 catches are required viewing and listening!
Definitely the best sounding engine on a 777!
Oh yes!!
I think the GE-90 gets a little too much attention
@@lagdroid0017 I second that thought!
@@lagdroid0017 GE90 and GE9X forever !
@@lagdroid0017 for real. Growlers are better, or better yet, the combination, like in Trent XWB
IT SOUNDS SOO GOOD I CANT GET OVER IT!!!!!
I wonder why people always choose GE90 over this better sounded engine, RR Trent 800
@@CarlLovesAviationGE90 is anyways the most powerful engine in the entire world and its sound is also great
@@planespotterronish but Trent 800 ranks on the 1st for loudest
@@CarlLovesAviation 1st?
Boeing 747: Am I a joke to you?
How can Trent 800 be the loudest engine? Are you assuming it?
@@planespotterronish sorry, i meant loudest of all 777 engines
That sound was MIGHTY impressive!!! Great job Jake :)
Gorgeous sound. Like a melody!
Big airplanes are so beautiful I can watch this all day
That sound :o Thanks for sharing
I live with Logan Airport basically in my backyard, so when I hear that distinctive growl, I know it's usually a 777 200er. Beast of the sky.
Love that low metallic growl when it takes off!
That buzzsaw like sound just like its predecessor, RB211.
Yup
That almost instantaneous acceleration!
It's incredible!!
@@JakesAviation Flying on a BA 777-200 powered by the Rolls Royce Trent 800 engines and i can’t wait

THE SOUND OF THE TUBEWAY ARMY!
Beautiful!!
The rolls royce trent 800 literally sounds better than the GE90. LITERALLY. MONSTEROUS sound this thing produces.
idk people's obsession with ge90.. that shit sounds like vacuum cleaner... this right here is a classic growl
I love the ge 90 for all that it is, but the Trent just sounds better…
Oof that's a tough one man idk I like em both a lot
How many BA 777-200ers have GE90 engines and how many have RR 800?
Ahh not quite sure tbh

@@xomvel no worries 👍
thats a short runway for such a big plane i had no idea that 777 had that much takeoff prefomance
yea it's crazy powerful! Full throttle and a fairly light load help a lot.
Love that growel
screaming power oh yeah
tren800 power wow
What a sound 🤩🥵
It's awesome!!
Great video. ☺️
Edit: I just subscribed to ur TH-cam channel. I love the RR Trent 800 engines but I prefer the GE90 engines.
