    ABOUT THE BAND MEMBERS
MAY INOUE 井上銘 is a prominent jazz guitarist in Japan and founder of the enormously popular band 'Stereo Champ'. His guitar influences include Mike Stern, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Grant Green. May has performed onstage with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Kazumi Watanabe and has opened for Mike Stern at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London.
JASON REBELLO was classically trained at the Guildhall School of Music in London. His first solo album, ‘A Clearer View’ was produced by Wayne Shorter. Jason has produced eight solo albums to date. Jason worked with Jeff Beck and co-wrote the single 'Hammerhead' which won a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. Prior to this, Jason was a member of Sting's band. Jason has also appeared with a diverse range of artistes including Bud Shank, Wayne Shorter, Gary Burton, Branford Marsalis, Tommy Smith, Jean Toussaint, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Pee Wee Ellis, Joss Stone, Manu Katche, Mica Paris, Carleen Anderson and Omar. He also performed several classical concerts with the Nice Symphony Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra.
JAY PHELPS originally from Vancouver, Canada, is an extremely busy trumpeter on the London jazz scene as an enabler as much as a player and bandleader. Jay was a founding member of the prizewinning British post-bop group, Empirical. Two solo albums feature among many other group recordings. Jay has shared stages with global Jazz names such as Courtney Pine, Andrew Hill, Wynton Marsalis, Ray Brown, John Hendricks, George Benson, Jamie Cullum, Amy Winehouse, Hugh Masakela, Jazz Jamaica, Skatroniks, Chineke Orchestra.
KAZ RODRIGUEZ is an internationally renowned drummer, composer and clinician, regularly giving drumming masterclasses. Kaz has toured with Jessie Ware, Rita Ora, Plan B, Disciples, Cirque du Soleil, Sinead Harnett and more recently, Josh Groban. Kaz’s compositions for his ‘drumless tracks’ are used by drumming superstars such as Chris Coleman, Tony Royster Jr, Aaron Spears, Anika Nilles, Robert “Sput” Searight.
DAVIDE MANTOVANI's interest in music started at four with the piano. He then progressed on to the electric and acoustic bass. His father was co-founder of the Ferrara Jazz Club where Davide met, and sometimes jammed with, some of the greatest Jazz legends including Al Grey, Phil Woods and Chet Baker. Since his arrival in London in 1991, he has built up a solid experience on both live and studio scenes, playing with some illustrious Jazz, World and Pop artists including: Lisa Stansfield, Baaba Maal, Zoe Rahman, Andy Sheppard, Jason Rebello, Natacha Atlas, Mulatu Astatke, Barb Jungr.
