- Turkey is very close to my heart, and every time when someone does not know my country, I refer to Turkey or Türkiye. I had a chance to spend a few days in Istanbul and was very excited to do new video series for you from different parts of the world. I've never been to Turkey but made Kayseri Mantısı and the Sinop variation from scratch. It's the classic meat in dough dumpling dish and it's one of my favorites along with Azerbaijani khingal and Georgian khinkali. I think Turkish cuisine really takes it up a notch with the toppings. And trust the item that took my eye in the antique shop was the most expensive. What a beautiful work.

It's very difficult to pick a favourite Turkish food, but Manti is in my top 3 for sure. I haven't tried it fried before. It looks delicious :) I am enjoying all your videos from wonderful Turkiye. Hello from Vancouver Island in Canada
Food looked good the only thing that would put me off is the woman smoking behind me as an ex smoker I now hate the smell of cigarette smoke and have no desire to breathe it in while eating !

O turşucu baya ünlü bir yer aslında. Neşeli günler filminin çekildiği turşucu. Büyük kavanoz da alınabilir tabi ama normali, içeri girilir, bir bardak turşu içip çıkılır :)

Is the yogurt cold or warm? I had this in the levantine middle east..it is called shish barak and the yogurt is warm. Same dumplings that are either boiled or fried😊. No tomato sauce. Looks yummy! Afet olsun!
