I've got a 2001 Warrior and use it to plow in the winter. I put a FMF powerbomb header and pipe on it and it has dirt devil tires on it. When I plow with it I chain the rear tires. I've been places following other 4x4s that people couldnt believe I did. I love that ATV!!
The Warrior wasn't designed as a utility machine so it's not known for storage space. That's like asking how much trunk space in a top fuel dragster. Simple fix: $20.00 back pack at Dollar General / Wal*Mart or cheaper at any yard sale. It'll fit on the front or back of the machine or wear it.

@MyNamesMatTheFatRat Correct. The lever is basically just a reverse lock out feature like many other manual ATVs use. However this one simply pulls the gearbox out of the forward gears and puts it into reverse regardless of what gear the warrior is in.
@MyNamesMatTheFatRat I believe they designed it to be a safety feature. They didn't want people to do accidently go into reverse while they were moving in a forward gear.
I think the Warrior is one of the best machines I've ever owned!!!! In some ways, I enjoyed the warrior over my raptor. I think the warrior was faster than the blaster, I was always a little scared I'd blow the engine on my blaster....I don't know why I felt that way. I really really liked my warrior! Don't get me wrong, I liked the blaster too. It jumped hills well but wasn't that great in creeks or mud.
the deal about using the choke is because the carbs on warriors don't stay primed and I usually have to use the choke under 55 degrees f. otherwise it's a great quad it does the haul and I love it. though it's time for me to move up I'm selling my 2001 Yamaha YFM 350 Warrior to get a Polaris Predator 500 Troy Lee Designs Edition
@BrendonBlaster Thanks! Right now we are working on a review for the Mojave. The blaster has been sold for several months now, however, i think i may try to pick up another one soon. If i do we will get a review done. Also coming soon is a review on a 2005 Bombardier Outlander 400.
@booyyee It's really been a good machine for me. Another small feature I like about the Warrior...it does not have a support bar for the rear plastic fenders. I rolled the Warrior and rolled my Mojave in the same way. The Mojave's support bar cracked my plastics. In fact, Jeremy and Shawn's plastics are cracked because of that support bar (Shawn cut his fenders off because he was tired of zip tying them). However, the Warrior's plastics have taken a beating with me and still look great!
Ihave an 88 warrior. Cleanest warrior youll ever see. seriously. I have problems with it. Just simple stuff. The clutch is really hard to pull in. The throttle it really rough. if im going through a slow zone up at camp and ease it in a high gear its really hard to push in. Finally the shifter. If im in 1st and go to shift up into 2nd. It goes into neutral. No matter how hard i pull it up. Any advice? Trying to keep the quad alive. Got it passed down to me from my dad. So it need easliy updated.
i have a 1998 warrior and started to fix the vin because some one had scratched it off anyway in need help with the 8th digit in the vin it looks like a o or 0 or a d but dont no and it a normal model and need to no what it should be
@47redneck47 Yes it does! My father-in-law has one too, he also loves it. He's a big man and it doesn't have any problem doing wheelies. Plus, it has plenty of low in power for mud.
@gavinabcdefghi We don't have a Honda 400ex to race. My guess would be no though. :( This weekend we are going to try to shoot versus drag videos with all our atvs. So you will see how fast the Honda 450R is over the warrior. The warrior has more low end power over the 450r. Also, the 450r does not like to run slow! It'll die on you if you try to ride it slow.
@dmccullough12 I honestly don't know much about a Honda 400ex. However, I would always recommend a Warrior. The warrior it is a great trail bike, has reverse and electric start. The warrior is good for beginners and advanced riders.
i cant decide between a 350 warrior and a 200 blaster im really stuck can anybody help me ive read that the blaster is quicker but the warrior is faster in the higher gears and ive also read that it is more powerful but the blaster is lighter and easier to throw around somebody please help me
@dmccullough12 i drove 250 ex there sport clutch at the time is my first time ever riding a manul and i loved it they also have 350 warrior and im leaning toward that because its cheaper but depends what you like!
@massacre2224 All warriors pretty much look the same and I hate to burst your bubble but the tenth letter in my vin is a "w" which means my warrior is a 1998. If it were an "x" it would be a 1999 model.

My clutch was stiff too when I bought my warrior, bought a new cable and know it's good as new.

I am thinking about getting a warrior or a 400ex. Which do you think would be easier to learn how to drive a clutch.
