  • Louis Savary, PhD, STD, holds two doctorates, one in mathematical statistics and another in theology. He was a Jesuit for thirty years, and for the past forty years has been explaining Teilhard’s ideas in ordinary language. He has published over eight books on Teilhard, including “The Divine Milieu” Explained and “The Phenomenon of Man” Explained. He has written The New Spiritual Exercises: In the Spirit of Teilhard de Chardin, bringing Teilhard’s evolutionary perspective to the classic Ignatian Exercises. He has also written essays for Teilhard Studies. He lives with his wife and, often, co-author, Patricia H. Berne, a clinical psychologist, in Tampa, Florida.

The material level = the physical, the biological, the cell. The mental level = thinking, the noosphere, thoughts in consciousness that are like memes that circulate among many, but also the single thought. The emotional level = emotions, conscious and subconscious, the cardiosphere. The spiritual level = the higher mental, higher sensibilities like math, music, Vincent’s art, Christ consciousness, union with the Whole, with Love. Teilhard waking you up? Listen!

I guess you won’t read this since you did this video in the past. So regarding the split and “disciplining” of Teilhard: Were the same prelates who slapped Teilhard down the ones who in the 70s and 80s did their best to reverse the forward movement of Vatican II? I mean particularly like Cardinal Octavani and Cardinal Chicconani-spelling, I’m sure, is incorrect, but I’ve never forgotten those weird names and how they worked to reverse Vatican II. Some would say they greatly succeeded and Francis still struggles because of them. I’ve often wondered if they aren’t the two who crushed Teilhard. The jokes on them because few besides me recall their names but millions know Teilhard. § And no, heading toward the Omega Point cannot fail. One, because it is a movement toward not just an end product, and two because Christ is already victorious. We cannot lose the future because it is His future. Isn’t that Teilhard’s whole point? This is a comment for the *last* video with Dr.Higgins, but I find YT put it here.

I mean - to bash Herakleitos from the get go as 'wrong' - while he is such a deeply mystical thinker, made me go look for other sources on Teilhard de Chardin. I have no need for a tribal thinker, PhD or otherwise.
