- I head to Croatia and take a tour of Rimac's brand new factory and campus!
The Rimac Campus is nearing the completion of its first phase. Situated near Zagreb, Croatia, this expansive facility spans 200,000 square meters and is designed to accommodate over 2,500 employees once fully operational. The campus will serve as a hub for research, development, and production, particularly focusing on the manufacturing of hypercars for Bugatti Rimac, as well as battery systems and drive components for other automotive manufacturers. With an investment of approximately 200 million euros, the campus is one of the largest of its kind in Europe, aiming to consolidate Rimac's various operations into a single, state-of-the-art complex.

Did he just casually drop that they are working on a 3000 horsepower car!?!?!?!?!? With the new bugatti released i thought the horsepower wars might be over, i guess not. Mate really has been pushing the upper limits of the electric car for years now and i guess theres no slowing down. Thanks for the tour can't wait too see the rally
are those 2.2 mw being released at once? I have zero clue how evs completely work...just curious.

@@krishmaheshwari8061 some cars if it has 1000hp to the rear it's 500hp to the left and 500hp to the right but under extreme circumstances can be 800 left 200 right or whatever. Afaik the limitations at the moment aren't the motor but the battery and how much power they can deliver at once. Usually if they have 2 500hp motors though they say the total power is lower because of these limitations. That's why the numbers don't add up when electric specs are being shown

@@grgagabric4369 aj ne seri plača minimalna je 600 eura netto i većinom je oko 700-800 eura a ovaj prosjek si nek familiji Plenki i društvo objese za vrat što mi računa par menađera i robove sa minimalcem pa izađe 1200!!odi u dućane pa vidi kolka je plaća prodabačicama ko i ovima po tvornicama itd!!nebi ljudi otišli van da bolje plačaju tu

So rimac spent basically the same total amount on this as Ferrari did on their all new e building? But Ferrari completed it in 22 months.
Seems like mate didn't get as much bang for the buck as Ferrari did seeing as Ferrari will build another 8-10,000 unit's in that building.
Shame that being bugatti CEO has now seen him abandon pure evs. He's even mentioned rimac may make combustion engined cars NOW. 🙂

He's working on a 3000HP electric car so i don't think he's abandoning it any time soon. It might just be that there's more money in building these parts for other companies than building his own electric cars

Beautiful cars but I honestly wish the charging times would last longer. They don't have very long run times making your trips take longer and cost more than a fossil fuel vehicle.
Same as phone battery, the more u use, shorter it lasts. Nothing new here.
