How come nobody uses downriggers on the Columbia?
I'm not sure the reason. It seems to be effective. I know people that have downriggers and prefer to lead and a spreader. We use the same technique on the snake and Clearwater in Idaho.

Apparently, you have never heard of Rainshadow.
i have i am just a lamiglas guy always have been.
Nothing beats a custom rod Lami / Loomis / Shimano etc.
I happen to think Rainshadow sells the best rod blanks.
I have a couple rainshadow seconds in my garage. Whatever you can afford to buy or build 👍😎
