Make sure to change the terminal tackle on the spin fish. I had a hook break on a Willamette springer last year. The rod only rattled 3 times and stopped. Reeled in and hook was broke right at the bend. I complained about it on some other social media and then recieved an email from the guy from Yakima Bait wanting to send me a new spin fish. So I gave him my info and low and behold I never heard from him again and never recieved any spin fish. I love the plug. But the tackle is junk. I wish the woukd sell them u rigged like Brad's does.

When running the larger 5 & 6 size spinners I’m assuming you run behind a triangle flasher because the pull on the protrolls would be too great?

That's true but sometimes less action can be better. Using the GoFish camera, I've seen salmon give up on lures with lots of 360 style action because they couldn't catch it easily.

Never seen that happen other than when fighting a fish. The line runs through the lure so there's good tension on it while trolling.
