I love when you include these baking\ cooking segments! The church I grew up going to did homecomings so I knew exactly what you are talking about! I’m so excited to see your thoughts about Six Foot Deep Dish cause I’m so intrigued by that mainly cause pizza is my favorite!!
I love Cozy mystery vlogs. Book 3 in the deep dish series is the best and I'm excited for book 4. I recommend Vicki Delany as an author. She has 3 series I love. A sherlocke holmes bookstore series, a tea series and a christmas all year round series.
I love to read cozies, especially during reading sprints because it is easy to switch my brain between the book and the talking portion of the sprint. When I do read a 5-star book, I switch over to a different genre for at least one book. Then, I go back to the second book in the series. It usually gives me a fresh perspective/rating for book 2.
I love cozy mysteries and cozy mystery vlogs! The Seaside Cafe series is one of my favorites. I have re-read the series. There is just something enchanting about the series to me. I hope you enjoy the series as much as I do! Bree Baker is a pen name for Julie Anne Lindsay. Another series by her that I love is The Christmas Tree Farm series under her pen name Jacqueline Frost. If you love Christmas cozies, you'll love this series. The cherry pie looks delicious! I need the squirrel bookmark. I love everything squirrels. Nugget and Pug are adorable! 🐶Bummer about The Museum Murder. The Deep Dish Mysteries get better as the series goes on. I gave the first book 3 stars, the second book 4 stars, and the third book 5 stars (this one has Clue vibes). I'd say give the second book a try.
I loved Live and Let Chai, as well as No Good Tea Goes Unpunished, so cute and cozy! Our church has a fellowship dinner every Wednesday. Every other Wednesday, we have a potluck, and pasta salad is always my go-to dish to bring, haha! Unless it's summertime, then I just cut up watermelon 🍉
I finished the Bree Baker series earlier this year and the last book was one of the best cozies I’ve ever read. It will be in my top 10 books of the year.
I love a good cozy vlog, both doing them and watching them! Bree Bakers series was my summer binge... I made every tea recipe in them. LOL Six FT deep Dish wasn't a fav, but if you can read the second one in the series it is a homerun! The MC becomes more likable.
A series you might consider is The Hope Street Church mysteries. I’m up to date on the series and love all the characters. It has light faith content and is based around a diverse Sunday School class who solve murders. Definitely a cozy.
Girl I was WAITING for you to say Japanese Fruit Pie 😂 that was my great-aunt’s signature pie. I vaguely remember eating it as a child but my family always called it “Aunt Russy Pie” and so it was hard to track down the recipe as an adult. But my dad’s sister came through for me and said it was commonly called Japanese Fruit Pie. Only difference is that my great aunt apparently added a dash of white vinegar to her filling 🤨 Super old fashioned! Made my little Southern heart happy seeing you make it haha
Definitely do more of these. Another fun series, not talked about much is The Bookmobile Cat Mysteries by Laurie Cass. You might consider that as well. 🫖
Making a bunch of yummy food in a cozy mystery vlog is the perfect combo!
Yes ma’am! 🤭

I can attest to the eating a lot/ potlucks in the traditional churches in the Bible Belt 😂
YES 🤣 we like to EAT
6 pies! 🥧😂 that’s so many! Lol
I loved this video! Too bad about no murder in that cozy 😂 Also, I tried Deep Dish and couldn’t get with it either.
