Chapter 44: Escaping the mines *As they reached an open cavern with the Sol Emeralds in the bag, Professor Maisie, Alan, Ellie, Blaze, Silver and Cream found a ladder, leading to a higher cave. A silver of light penetrated the gloom. Then, an unknown sound came from nowhere.* Ellie: "What was that?" Blaze: "Don't know where its coming from." Alan: "I'll take a look." Silver: "Be careful." *He climbed the ladder, looking out for bats or spiders despite Ellie's assurances. As Cream gave Alan the torch to get a closer look. . .* ???: "HSSSSSSS!" Alan: "AGH!" *It was revealed! A hissing Dimetrodon snarled at Alan as he fell and landed hard. It was a huge reptile that looked like a crocodile with a frilled fin three times its own height! Alan's hat had fallen off. Maisie grabbed her sword from her back and swung it side to side, keeping her friends from getting stabbed and cut.* Cream: "What are those things?!" Maisie: "Dimetrodons! Non-mammalian synapsid that lived during the Cisuralian age of the Early Permian period, around 295-272 million years ago. None other than that can grow to a length of more than 11.5 feet and had a large 'sail' on its back that may have functioned in temperature regulation! It is a member of the Sphenacodontidae family!" Silver: "Do you know those creatures well from one of your classes?!" Maisie: "Always and never!" *Alan bent down to pick his hat up, but the Dimetrodon ate it, nearly taking Alan's hand off.* Blaze: "Forget the hat!" *The six of them took off in a flash! They sprinted through the mines as the hungry Dimetrodons chased after them. The cave was like a maze with all the zigzags and twists and turns. Shining their flashlights back behind them, Ellie and Blaze saw another Dimetrodon chasing them. Alan spotted a light. He and the others slid past an old mine cart only to find the exit blocked by a locked gate.* Silver: "It's locked!" Cream: "We're trapped!" Ellie: "Is anyone there?!" *A voice came out of the darkness on the other side of the gate.* Alan: "It's a car!" *It was Ian, who ran up to the locked gate.* Ellie: "My god, Ian!" Alan: "Ian! Over here!" *He noticed Maisie and her furry friends.* Ian: "Uh, what is a 34-year-old girl and a group of aliens doing here?" Blaze: "Never mind us!" Silver: "Can you open the gate?!" Cream: "Please help us!" *Quickly checking the locked gate, Ian found a keypad in the wall next to it.* Alan: "Do you know the code?!" Ian: "Didn't know there was gonna be a code. I didn't know there was gonna be a code." Cream: "Well, try something!" Silver: "And be very quick!" *WHAM! The Dimetrodons pushed a rusted mine cart toward the team, threating to crush them against the bars.* Ian: "There are roughly, uh, ten thousand possibilities..." *As the Dimetrodons growled and hissed from the other side of the cart, Ian tried different four-digit combinations.* Silver: "Phone numbers don't have four digits!" Ellie: "We're not gonna make it!" Ian: "Let's all try to stay positive." *Back in the control room what Ian did not know, Ramsay had found a security camera feed that showed him what was going on at the gate. Working feverishly at a keyboard, he navigated through several screens until he was able to enter the four-digit code. THUNK. The gate unlocked. Alan, Ellie, Blaze and Silver shoved it open and dragged Maisie and Cream through. Together, they slammed it closed just as the cart's brake failed, sending the cart crashing into the gate. The Dimetrodons were trapped inside.* Ian: "What'd you know, it actually worked." Blaze: "Very lucky, indeed." *Everyone was exhausted. Ellie introduced Ian to Maisie.* Ellie: "Ian, this is Maisie." Ian: "Hi, Maisie." Maisie: "Hello. Pleasure to meet you. And these are my friends from another universe: Blaze, Silver and Cream. They help me change my life." Ian: "Wow. Friends from another universe, huh?" Ellie: "Yeah, and we got the DNA." Blaze: "And we found the Sol Emeralds." Alan: "We need to get out of this valley fast." Silver: "And we also have to get to a hotel so we can find Maisie's sisters and we need to get rid of her not-parents identities. Will you help us?" Ian: "Yeah. I can do that." Blaze: "Are there any roads in this valley we can take?" Ian: "There is a shortcut around the mountain. I'd say we find the closest one." *The fiery purple cat agreed. The seven friends hopped in the vehicle and strapped their seatbelts. Horrible movie...very bad...it mayde just to get money. First " jurassic world" is 50/50 but the next two films is a piece of crap
